DENVER, COLORADO: (HEADS UP!) City is considering a FLAVOR BAN, because they've been led to believe "8/10 vaping teens use flavors." IN FACT, the majority of those teens have only TRIED a vapor product in past 30 days and are NOT daily users. According to the CDC 2020 Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, less than 4/100 High School teens vape flavored products daily! Additionally, the vast majority of ADULT vapers prefer non-tobacco vapor product flavors to keep from smoking. City officials should know the FULL facts before creating new laws!

BAD PUBLIC HEALTH POLICIES: The number of teens who use tobacco products fell 28% in 2020, however, due to public health propaganda lying about the risks, teens mainly quit using the LOWEST RISK products, while smoking rates remained unchanged. #QuitLying

Added to the LIKE, AGREE, etc. buttons, we need one added for GRRRR!

The latest pandemic stimulus bill also includes an adult signature requirement for shipped vape products (because that's, like, umm, an economic stimulus thingy, right?). So UPS & FedEx shipping, where available, will cost even more.

Thank Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) for getting that in there. Good to know she's fighting on our behalf for both higher Big Pharma profits and increased cancer risks.

EXPOSING ANTZ BIAS: "Study" from anti-vaping Stanton Glantz et. al. completely ignores MILLIONS of adults who successfully QUIT SMOKING in the past decade from buying vapor products as "consumer products," rather than as pharmaceutical products, followed by RECORD LOW adult and youth smoking rates that cannot be explained by taxes, smoking bans or tobacco control propaganda. The real world data completely contradicts their limited observations. It seems apparent that the ANTZ (Anti-Nicotine and Tobacco Zealots, as they're called in the THR advocacy community) will be pushing for Australian-style regulations, ie. requiring vapor products to only be available under prescription.

The signature requirement is also part of The Preventing Online Sales of E-Cigarettes to Children Act that passed with the Omnibus. So, part of the same bill. What I'm not clear on (now that I just read an article by C-Store Decisions) is whether they only passed the signature requirement or passed both. Would seem weird to ban USPS from delivery when an adult signature is required either way. The article only mentions the signature requirement, not the USPS ban. Looking into it...

Of course it does. What would be the point otherwise? The noble quest by science for the truth? HA!

And only manufactured by Big Pharma.

Love ya, @kristin and have sent money to CASAA and done what advocacy I could, but don't you think it's past time to take this fight to the next level by calling out the liars, and the entities that own them, to the general public? Or is that even possible?

Of course, but call them out in what other way? CASAA shares all of these posts (very often exposing lies) on social media, for members to use to call out the liars there, but it's nearly impossible to get any media coverage. CASAA needs much higher membership numbers, in order to be seen as a force to be reckoned with, and much, MUCH greater funding, if they're expected to buy advertising and lobbying. CASAA would love that, but unfortunately, they have limited resources.

Yes, thank you. I found that in Jim's article. I hadn't had a chance to read what was actually passed (kinda like Congress itself didn't read it, either!)
