Heads Up Tobacco People

I just noticed ecigexpress has some chinese tobacco flavorings back in stock that have been out of stock for awhile. I have been waiting for months for these to be available! I went ahead and bought RY4 and something that equates to a 555. They also have a 5% code going on now that worked IDESOFMARCH. If anyone has tried these before let me know. Its under the tobacco flavorings catergory with a brand name of they are calling ELESSENCE.

I have tried them. The tobacco tastes like the cartos in an Ego kit IMHO. I used it at 10% and prolly could have gone lower. Of course, I used EM in all. The RY4 is the same RY4 being hawked as Dekang, though it is NOT the original Dekang I quit smoking with. A little birdie told me the chief chemist for Dekang jumped rice paddies to Hangsen and Hangsen NOW has the original, but IDK if that is so as I have not tasted them. The 555 tasted like Eastmalls IMO at 10%. They had one named marl and I could not vape it, it tasted of hay at 10% and I don't think that will go away. I believe many of these flavors would be good bases for great tobaccos if they were tweeked but I am not in the mood to tweek too much these days. I have tweeked my own and a few friends everyday vape and play once in a while. Lets just say, I am an old vaper,semi-retired DIYer and like to "vape out" once in a while
This is all subjective, as always, I love anchovies and fois gras , also.
Delicious to one is stinkysockvapor.vom to some. I love to LOL at flavor reviews.It is hilarious to me that someone says it is great and everyone runs. BUT, I suppose one persons subjective percentage could give someone a place to start???
FWIW.......an example: Gorilla juice is a winner in sales and for the life of me I can not picture myself(Nor could I after tasting it) smoking tobacco with bananas in it! YUCKO!

Are these ecigexpress flavors Dekang or Hangsen? i'm so confused but that's easy to do.

Thanks bonnie I'll tell what I think when they get here. These are Hangsen-- when I looked back on it. Just wanted to find out for myself since tobaccos are harder to pin down as great and I've had several allready I didn't care for (not by this brand yet...lol). My curiousity gets the better of me.

Hey Shiloh, just an FYI but I remember Tona said in a post a while back that Hangsen was not very concentrated and suggested at 30%. I'll see if I can find her post but I'm not to hip on how to post a link. I usually get it done but probably not the most efficient at it.

Thanks AZ I figured I'd sample these until I can get my hands on the other ones from VZ and perhaps later whatever RTS Vapes comes out with. I've gone through the American ones and Italian ones and decided I must know about the Chinese ones too.

For sure good to stay out of trouble. I try not to even look at cig cartons when in stores. It sounds like Tona liked the flavor she got at 15%. I will start much lower than that or plain old ask ecigexpress what they recommend. This 30% thing in a tobacco sounds hard to believe unless someone is vaping very high VG.

I also thought 30% seemed high and I guess why I remembered the thread. Not sure where she got the 30% suggestion but aparently she felt it was high also. Please let us know your opinion.

I have two of these flavors, Virginia and Flue Cured. I questioned the 30% ratio too so I emailed Ecig Express and they didn't seem to know much about these particular flavors. I mixed the Flue Cured at 3% and it's pretty strong. I want to experiment with some more of these.

You have no idea how much I have LMBO at this post! I now have this hilarious picture in my head of a guy wearing waders and leaping thrum rice paddies, heading for greener paddies. Thanks for brightening my day.

I ordered the Cuban and Havana Hangsen flavoring last night. Should be here soon. I suppose it will be an experiment.

Yes I am hoping mine will be here tomorrow I wasn't that brave to get Cuban-- I ordered 555 and Ry4--we shall see if this pans out well or not Sdh I am always up for giving a different tobacco a try-- get tired of the same few.

I received my order today. I have tasted neither (my husband tried a couple drops of the 555 in mix he is currently using and liked it) I got the following recommendation of 5-7% as a starting point from the vendor. The RY4 has a lighter smell and lighter color than the 555 which is what I would expect. Neither are overwhelmingly perfumey but the 555 is a stronger smell. I will report back when test batches steep.

I obtained my order today. I mixed up some Havana at 5% as a starting point. I think I will sit it in a warm water bath and try some tonight.

On a different note: I finally mixed up a black n mild vg extraction from over a month ago. I think if the Hangsen or Dekang flavorings don't pan out-I will be perfecting extraction methods. The taste is good. I think I will mix it stronger next time. Instead of straining it thru numerous coffee filters I will be straining it thru blue filter foam. I don't want to chance any particulates in the e-liquid. (The extraction was from a natural black n mild cigar.)

Have had time to evaluate the two flavorings I ordered better. The 555 is very good the Ry4 is just okay. I allready have my tobacco base perfected and have been enjoying the black fire by FA as a backnote. Still searching for the best tobacco essence to add to my perfect base. Just for reference-- if you like Volt or Bloog premades you will like these. The 555 is the better of the two I got.

Good to know! I just tried my Havana again. I must say I do like this flavor at 5%. I added one drop of TA and it's perfect. I am going to try some alcohol based cigar flavors to compare.

Thats what I used 5% and its pretty spot on with the 555- nutty mild vape smells good.
