My lung capacity has increased a great deal. I blew out all the candles on my 58th birthday cake, and I couldn't get halfway through my 54th.

My doctor found my blood oxygen level after six months vaping to be the same as if I had never smoked.

The hacking cough from smoking for years disappeared within the first three months.

The occasional cold is now just a cold for a couple days, without bronchitis or inflamed lungs.

The only negative side effects I've had are the need to keep hydrated and an occasionally scratchy throat. In the winter months when it's drier, I use less flavoring to help my throat out.

Overall, my better health is well worth a few extra glasses of water a day.

40 year ex-smoker vaping i year exclusively. i felt 100% better after a couple of days of vaping, and it has continued getting better every day since then. energy is way up and so is my attitude.

i haven't had a cold or been ill other than mild stomach upset at all since quitting smoking.

sure is nice to wake up and feel good.

Hi - as a smoker of 47 yrs, I've now been a vaping convert for 6 months & would like to hear from any other long term smokers as to how they believe it has impacted on their health.

Hello John.

My health is much improved and people I know of the older generation who smoked longer and more than me all seem very happy with the health gains.

You should look out for Chrissie on here (or her Forum in the UK, AAEC)

Been a smoker for about 30 years and kind of fell into vaping when I received an email advertising Vype e-cigs. Never seen one before and none of my friends used one so I thought I'd give it a go.
Ordered a starter kit and gave up smoking the very next day. Not touched a killer ciggie since.

Can't report any news on any medical improvements 'cos I've not seen a Doctor for over 30 years and have never taken any medication. I don't remember even taking something as simple as an aspirin. When my friends complain they have ?? health problems, I have to Google it to see what it is :D

I now enjoy not having to experience the smell in the car and house. I also seem to sleep better and longer :D
