Just for the record, and as someone who has vaped both Gandalf and Serendipity, I concur with GT's impressions. Compared to Serendipity, Gandalf has a sweet note that closely resembles maraschino cherry (to me). I'm not going to say exactly like cherry, but it's the best descriptor I can come up with. It's not a strong note either. Just slight. The remaining flavor components are the same.
I suspect blending the two could make for an interesting flavor. Chocolate covered cherry.

I really really get totally different flavors from 8/27 gandalf and this months gandalf. Was hoping steeping would mellow the pipe-cherry flavor I'm getting. Not that it's bad - its good, I just REALLY REALLY REALLY loved the Serendipity flavor.

Yes, I suspect this will happen with several people. Happened to GT and me. Fortunately, I still have some Serendipity left but not much. Have more on order and it should ship within the next couple of days. Also have some Pirate's Booty (which is nearly the same as Serendipity IMO). So I think I can limp along for a bit. I'm just glad the problem had an identifiable solution and Serendipity can be replicated again. Adam was confident of that.
This is the good part of the whole thing.
That ,someday, again I can have Serendipity in my grasp! Maybe I'll list some more stuff on Amazon and make it happen faster!
Can you imagine if Adam was not able to figure out what happened and could not replicate Serendipity?
My Gandalf was shipped on 10/3. I'm going to assume it's Serendipity. I get some pipe, but the majority is a cocoa/banana type thing. Hard to describe. Loaded it up in a XXL 1.7 carto to try and spend the day figuring it all out. It's almost a dessert-ish flavor right now. Also, Shadowfax has a really nice honey flavor to it. I'm not sure how I feel about Gollum yet. Letting that one stay up on the shelf until some of the perfumey notes I'm getting go away. I'm sure it's not actually perfumey, but just they way I am interpreting the different flavors.
10/3 should be Gandalf, but I get no cocoa taste in Gandalf. But then I don't get honey from Shadowfax either. I do know what you mean about "perfumey" in Gollum.
Yeah, 10/3...that's Gandalf. I don't get honey out of Shadowfax either. I get vanilla. Don't get any "perfume" out of Gollum. All raisin to me. Is it possible some people equate raisin to perfume?
Cocoa-banana is exactly what I got from Aug 27 shipped Gandalf(serendipity I believe). No tobacco flavor (in my mind) Except not really sweet.
10/2 shipped Gandalf I get strong pipe, a little perfumey, with cherry. I mixed a little of another vendors ry4 variant into my tank full to get some of that sweeter flavor.
Hmm if that's the case then I will have to try Serendipity for comparison. And yep I'd say 75% of the taste from Shadowfax for me is honey. Very interesting the different ways we interpret these flavors!
I've heard several people say "banana" now, I REALLY don't get that one.

Well I've been vaping for 2 days now, There's a hell of a learning curve on this whole thing... not too impressed with the stuff I got from madvapes, after searching this site for a while HHV and gandolph was constantly coming up, So I just made my order.. can't wait to get it.
Got a quick question for someone from the store, any Idea when or if your going to get more eGo Battery Tank Adaptors? I need a couple but it says your sold out. You guys have them for the cheapest i've found and it would be easy to add to an order of liquid..
