I'm new to the forum, so I don't know anyone to tag. I'm also pretty new to vaping. I tried about a year ago on an Aspire CFVV and Nautilus Mini setup. Made it about six months and went back to cigarettes. This time I started with an iJust kit. Then I bought the iStick TC60W with the Melo 2 and went straight to temp control. I ran the nickel coil heads with it. Now I'm using the TFV4 with the single rba kanthal it came with. I'm going to pick up some nickel or titanium wire soon and try building one of those.

.... And the first winner is @jseah

Congrats :) @jseah!!!

Hey everyone, Merry Christmas Eve!!

This year (2015) is a crazy year for e-cigarette tech evolvement. More and more manufacturers start to step into the temp control area. Hundreds of TC mods are presented to vape consumers. However, we found that a bunch of vapers still in the vape stone age. To help more vapers to evolve on this road, Heaven Gifts decides to give away 4 sets of Joyetech Cubis Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml + 150W Joyetech Cuboid TC Express Kit W/O Battery combos.

To enter this contest:

1. Tag 2 of your vape friends and invite them to join the contest.
2. Share your experience with any Temp Control devices. If you have not used any Temp Device, it is OK, just share your experience with any e-cigarette gadget (You can also share your vape devices/your coil builds pics)
(Multiple shares are appreciated)

All vaping friends are welcome to join this event and we will reward all participants with a $10USD gift card to be added to your Heaven Gifts account.

We will choose 4 winners according to your shares.

For the 4 winners, we will select:
1 vape rookie who is still using ego/vv/cigarette like devices
1 vape veteran who has affluent coil rebuild experience and starts to try Temp Control devices
2 vape masters who are familiar with TEMP CONTROL Ni/Ti/NiFe/SS coils and have affluent coil rebuild experience, even tried TCR function

Hence we can collect feedback from different kinds of vapers.

Requirements:
Winners must share vape experience with SS316 coils of Joyetech Cubis Tank and Temp Control functions of Joyetech Cuboid mods. If possible, winners can try the TCR function of Joyetech Cuboid mods and share the TCR experience here.

----------A few of knowledge you should know about Joyetech Cubis+Cuboid Combo----------

Joyetech Cubis Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml, a bottom feeding tank. Coil replacement and juice filling of Joyetech Cubis can be achieved by unscrewing this top cap. The design of it is inspired by a whisky cup. Juice will not flood while replacing coils. BF SS316 coils totally imported from European manufacturer have been applied on Joyetech Cubis to go with not only TEMP SS mode, VW mode, VT mode but also TCR mode.

150W Joyetech Cuboid TC Express Kit W/O Battery, supporting SS316 coils and TCR function customizable, is powered by two replaceable 18650 cells. Supporting both TC and VW modes, you can vape at whatever mode you prefer to! Zinc alloy and wire drawing finish give this device a stylish look!

Thank you HeavenGifts and @Vera for another great giveaway!

My husband and I both started recently and both have switched to vaping 100% of the time for the last 4 weeks. I have a kangertech subox mini and my husband has a kangertech nebox. We share our juices and anything we can to save money. We didn't know the Nebox was a temp control device at first but now we do! I am very jealous as to how much more flavour comes out of the nebox while in temp control mod, even when we're vaping the same juice.

I don't know how but while vaping on the same juices the temp control setup seems to make the vapour warmer but not hot, lots of flavouring with small or big drags, smooth clouds that vapes easily and still make big clouds! Surprisingly easy to use too.

I've been researching which mod I want next and temp control is definitely a must have function. I've had a serious look at the Joyetech 150W Cuboid TC mod and I love that it fits dual 18650 battery and is only a little bit bigger than my KangerTech Subox Mini. I'm quiet a small person so the size of a mod is very important to me and the Cuboid TC Mod definitely gets a massive tick from me. :))

As much as I want to talk about the SS316 I can't because I don't rebuild my own coils, but a few days ago my hubby ordered a bunch of things to start giving it a go. Once it all comes in i will be able to say more. In saying that from the feedback I've heard many say that SS316 gives great flavour, no metallic flavours, easy to wrap, VERY easy to clean and most importantly produces BIG tasty clouds.

And the custom coil winding jigs I designed and fabricate for friends and family to achieve perfectly symmetrical tensioned wound coils. My "Cigamajig" will wind contact or spaced coils from 1mm to 3mm ID in less than 20 seconds straight from the wire spool.

well I just upped my ante somewhat from vaping padawan to jedi vaping master.Just built some 316/317 SS coils, nuttin fancy and tried a couple nichrome builds.one was a chain coil, the other was a tiger build.I stuck with the simple 22 gauge build till I get to practice some more.still working the alien and staple fused clapton.never realized how many there is and who thinks this stuff up in the first place,

happy camper..just ordered a new tank and different coils from Heaven Gifts yesterday.a bunch of SMOK VCT DIY OCC Coil Kits,gtc/vct ni-200 heads , vct a1 heads and the SMOK X1 Vapor Chaser
ooh and some TFV4 coils, all of them.
Nice! You will be posting about that when you get it, right? Jedi vaping master. It suits you well! :)

Now now, folks. I do agree that there is some language barrier going on, but in general the instructions make sense. I understand vape rookie to be someone who uses extremely basic equipment with little knowledge, vape veteran to be someone who has progressed to VW/TC mods or rebuilding their own coils and vape master to be someone who can argue TCRs and ampere ratings.

Any way you look at it, it's free gear from a vendor, so I'm willing to just go with it. If I fill out the info wrong, oh well, there will be another.

Tag you're it! Come get in on this contest! @Seleya @wvducklady

I'm well familiar with temp control although I haven't been using it too long. Most of my friends and co-workers were on the band wagon before I was and now that I'm "with it" I wonder why the heck I took so long. (Oh yeah... New mods are expensive!)

Currently, I'm using a iStick 40TC with Triton 2 tank, a Evic VTC Mini with Crown tank and have a Ego One Mega I'm out of coils for and a Maganus tank I received for Xmas but haven't played with yet.

I love my iStick/Triton combo. It's small and compact but has plenty of power. I use it along with my Evic as my main mods. I mostly use SS coils as they are able to be used in both wattage and temp control, that's important to me to be able to change what mod I'm using with what tank. I do like Ti coils as well however I do not feel comfortable building with that type of wire, due to the inherent dangers of dry burning.

I have not played with TCRs yet, but I'm looking at getting more familiar with those as my Evic just had an update to allow adjustable TCR rates. I believe the new interface is extremely similar to the one on the Cuboid mod.

I build my own coils for my RDAs, but have not played with any temp control wire yet as it is still in the mail. I'm looking at using SS wire as it's easy to coil. Until it arrives my only temp control is with my tanks that I have coils for.

The main thing I like about temp control is I'm absent minded. I'll totally vape a tank dry without realizing it. With TC, all of a sudden I don't get any vapor or flavor. Whoops! Tank's dry. But no burning taste, YAY!

Have some pics! (Sorry if they're huge... I think I resized them...)

There is Ti mode, it just has to be activated. Turn the mod off by five clicks. Then press fire + up at the same time and hold for thirty seconds. Display will read "Ti ON". Turn mod back on by five clicks. Ta-da! Ti mode activated.
I am so glad you chimed in here, faerie! I saw the post about the iStick not having Ti but i was on my way out the door to go rescue hubby 2 states away and I couldn't remember how I did it when you told me, lol! I gave my iStick to my son in law and told him it had been upgraded to Ti. I love that little Easter Egg you discovered! :)

I think the rules/instructions have been clear and I do not feel there has been any language barrier, I just follow the keep it simple rule in my responses. It is nice that Evan made things even simpler for those who have issues or felt the first set was too much to do. Personally, I look at it like this is HG's contest and they have been giving away some big prizes, all they have really been asking in return for a chance to win these great prizes is information to better help them gauge what their customers really want/like, to be more in touch with the US market and that is a good thing.
I agree wholeheartely, Truli! Heaven Gifts has been extremely generous to us these past few months and I love the contests they have! :) Coming from my background (medical transcriptionist) I could get caught up in the intricacies of the language but it's pretty easy to see what is expected and even easier to ask when unsure. I haven't had any problems getting responses from HG via PM. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to market to an audience in a different country, especially when that language is English, lol!
