Im a 32 year old man from the UK, I've smoked for probably more than half my life (started smoking cigarettes at 12, moved onto cannabis not long after that)

For the last 10 years, I've smoked 3.5 grams of marijuana a day mixed in with around 50 grams of tobacco every other day or so. I would put my weekly spend on 'smoking' at around 300-350 a week (Which is disgusting when looking at it from a logical point of view)

My intention was to stop smoking as part of my 'new years resolution' ridiculousness, but bit the bullet and brought the day forward a week to today, its going okay i guess, no real major marijuana wants as of yet.

Anyone else had any success giving up marijuanna based on vaping instead?

My 1st vape (Is it any good?)
Geekvape NOVA 200W , along with an Aspire Cleito 120 pro tank.

I’m afraid this fourm doesn’t touch that subject at all. All discussion here is tobacco only. The topic is actually banned as you may notice from the multiple redactions in your post. You will probably have to look elsewhere for assistance. Nicotine only vaping we can help with, but that issue not so much.

I have that mod, not the tank. The mod was donated to me by Geekvape for the purpose of a review. The manufacturer Geekvape is a respectable manufacturer who listens to customer's needs and has a large lineup of quality mods and juice delivery attachments. I'd say you chose well.

The Nova is a dual battery regulated box mod that can put out 180 watts with two appropriate 30 amp 18650 batteries. I would describe it as a basic and simplistic box design. It's a bit too large for my personal tastes, myself preferring more pocket-friendly single battery mods, and I would have preferred more refined, rounded off edges for more comfort when held in the hand. The buttons are well-placed and clicky. Screen is typical and average. Solid 510 connector. Battery door is magnetic. The decorative inlays are a very nice touch and adds some class to an otherwise bland looking battery device. The few times I've used it so far it provides a very nice vape, and the mod is large enough to accomodate any of the larger diameter (and capacity) juice attachments without any overhang.

-If you use a good quality 15 amp CDR battery like the Samsung 30Q or Sony VTC6, then you are good up to 45 watts per battery; 90 watts using two; 135 watts for three batteries.

-If you use a good quality 20 amp CDR battery like the LG HG2 or Samsung 25R then you are good for 60 watts per battery. If using a 2-battery regulated mod, you're good for 120 watts as you have two batteries. If you are using a 3-battery mod, you're good for 180.

-If you use a single 25 amp CDR battery like the Sony VTC5A, then you are good for 75 watts per battery, 150 watts for two batteries, and 225 watts with three.

-If you use a single 30 amp CDR battery like the LG HB6 you are good up to 90 watts; with a pair of 30 amp CDR batteries you could safely do 180 watts.

You might get the sweats for a couple of weeks at night but yeah it's so doable. You'll feel so much more alive and less apathetic....Make sure your nic level is high enough. I still vape 18 mg even in a sub ohm RDA....it's important to satisfy the nic craving.

over a week in now and i havent smoked, apart from my tastebuds returning and ruining the taste of tea for me, everything else is rosey!

would just like to say for anyone thinking of making the switch from tobacco to vaping , DO IT, AND DO IT NOW!

I'm happy it's working so well for you! Congratulations!

Congrats mate - vaping definitely helps with a number of things, tobacco smoking being the main one. I am actually very impressed you have gone from 50 grams of tobacco every 2 days to nothing.

And speaking from prior experience the sleeping will get easier. If you find it difficult, have a look at CBD vape juice as I have read brilliant things about it helping people sleep. Plus it's perfectly legal!
