Thank you for your kind reply now all I need to do is find this trog’s site and find this screwdriver. I used to smoke Kent Golden Light 100s way back before cig prices went entirely out of sight. Do you think 24mg is too much for an “ultra light” smoker? As you say I can always cut it with glycerin or stretch it and save money maybe.

If it was me, I would order a small 10ml bottle of 24mg and another small one of 18 or 16mg strength. Ofcourse then there is the whole "what flavor do I like" problem. And between supplies the same flavor can taste different. puresmoker's riskee flavor has a big following and it is my favorite.

But it is more expensive than most, about $153 US and it took 9 days to get here from the UK. But it is made for heavy smokers/vapers.

I second yilla's advice. Get the 901 from Phil at e-smokey-treats because you will have 3 atomizers and after you get the hang of it (maybe a week-it's a little different that regular cigarettes/analogs), then see if you can get a screwdriver. You can also get starter kits, juice and spare parts (batteries, atomizers, usb pass-throughs) directly for China. One site is EastMall.com run by David Yang. He has a flat shipping rate of $15. I've never ordered from him but others on here have.

I'm going to buck the trend and say buy more carts if you can afford them, and for juice start with 11-14mg strength, just one bottle or two at most. You can go higher strength on your next order if you decide after use that it's not enough nicotine.

Another option is to order PG or Glycerin to cut down higher juice but I don't have the impression you want to start right out with all that messing around.

Realheavy, maybe it is a good thing you start out with an SD, it's a little too pricey for my account. I started with a super mini and tried a couple of different 901's and for now I am totally content with a penstyle, I did notice that some of the suppliers do offer 2 atoms in the starter kits. I'd go to the supplier forum and read the threads above the links and see what people are saying to the suppliers.

Dear Kind Folks,

So I took a bit of a break to do my research on the Screwdriver and wouldn’t you know according to their forum Trog says that as of 6:45 p.m. yesterday the only thing available is the body only or the basic kit with no atomizers or liquid. Apparently the screwdriver uses a
901 atomizer and he can’t get them in England and won’t get a shipment until after 4/18. It also takes several weeks to get the screwdriver from England. So that is the basic kit with no atomizers or liquid for $128.58 + 9.99 shipping or $138.58. I’ve read very good reviews of this but I would still have to purchase atomizers and cartridges and juice etc. and don’t know if there is a USB pass-through for a screwdriver. I assume not since its battery life is what it is all about. So here’s what I decided… please correct me if I’m wrong or add what I may have forgotten.

I am going with the Starter Kit from e-smoky treats which I believe to be a 901. (Then if I do decided I like vaping I can go on and order a screwdriver and the atomizers and such from the 901 can be used with it.

So how many blank cartridges should I get? 50 maybe? Is that .50 cents a piece for those or do they come in sets of 5.
I’d like to get a USB pass-through but I don’t think I can get that from e-smoky treats and I looked on bestcig.com and couldn’t find it listed there. Vaporguys.com has one… is that where everybody gets theirs?

There is NO ONE, on earth, that smoked or Vapes as much as ME, NO ONE. I am not an expert on anything, other than, what has worked for ME! I stopped smoking cos I would have died if I didn't..........

I may have a lot of pals that equal my jones, ( addiction in junkie terms) I went to rehab for drugs, 30 yrs ago, I have an addictive personality, so there is nothing I do that would be considered average, or normal. So, I think there a few people like me on this site, actually it sounds like you have the junkie in you as well/

therefore
1) you will never be satisfied w/ anything on the market, until, you have what you THINK is the best.
2) do not be afraid of spending some money, cos you are attempting to save your life, by giving up analogs.
3) I figured between my spouse and myself, I was spending $500 to $600.00 a month on cigs
4) I probably spent that on getting my e cig education and my stash.
5) I now own after 6 months, every product mentioned on this site
6) What I feel are the best, as I have mentioned before, may not be what you like, so I will not suggest , you gotta buy, this or that
7) Why?? you ask?? Cos I do not know you, or really anything in the world about you, other than you are a heavy smoker and that you want to stop/
8) So, we have that in common,
When I began the process, I was so unhappy with my first ecigs, that I almost fell back into analogs, so I bought something else and on and on and on.
Maybe that is why I own so many.
Now I buy something every week, cos I must, must have the very best,

and now I do not smoke analogs, STILL I vape from the minute I wake to the minute I fall asleep, with a ecig in my hand, at my bedside are usually 3 cigs all juiced and ready to hit, when I wake up in the middle of the night, to go to the boy's room

I always have atleast 7 maybe 8 cigs, prepared by my side all the time, I carry a small tote and I work from home. In my car, I have my tote, filled to the brink, I have my mobile devices and a mobile device especially for my car, that allows me to vape and charge a battery, just to go to the bank, and that is 10 minute away
I will NEVER be a puff away or I freak
I have never counted on how many hits I take during the day, but, again I aint smoking real cigs.

So Heavy, buy the SD as it is, buy the 901, 801, mini pipe, e cigar, disposable e cigar, buy many atomerizers and batteries, buy buy buy
all the juice you can and the carts, learn learn learn about the products. DO EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING TO STOP SMOKING, YOU WOULD NOT HAVE COME TO THIS SITE, IF YOU WERE JUST PLAYING.

Hi Nori, he may have informed you of you payal costs but I would be surprised, if he told you it all.
It will only get worse, I do not tell my wife, and she vapes right along with me.

I been to e-smoky-treats a dozen time and other than the starter kit, cartridges and juice I don’t see any of the other stuff on my list shown on his site like individual batteries, atomizers, pass-throughs, converters etc. etc. If its not shown I assume he doesn’t have it so now I’m having to look to other suppliers who do show the other stuff and worry whether it will fit his 901 device.

Just an aside…
A couple of months ago I bought a digital camera off amazon.com and the supplier put everything together in one big box - camera, filters, tripods, cords, chargers, batteries, carrying case, memory cards… you name it was there. I think there were a total of 31 items. It was called a deluxe starter kit. I may have paid a bit more for all of the stuff than if I’d shopped for every one of those items, and I may not even use some of them, but it sure saved me a lot of time and worry. It was at my door in 2 days and everything fit with the model camera I chose. All I had to do was take it out and learn to use it. Just a suggestion to any supplier who may be listening… I’ll bet I’m not the only confused newbie who’d like to just have my stuff all together in a big box, open it and start vaping.

I’m off again to try and find all the items on my list…. Thanks you all.

You aren't going to find a supplier with all the extraneous paraphernalia.... the best you can do is find a passthru. If you can get a starter kit, carts, and juice from one seller, you're doing well. Passthru is a bonus.
