I've just had my second Hello 016T charger fail....that's two failed chargers in two months!!! I have my Riva510 SE as a backup. I assume that I can't charge my Hello 016 batteries on the Riva charger, as the battery size of the two is not the same? I'm rather frustrated with this particular charger, as surely, I can't have had two faulty chargers. Looks like I'll be buying another PV soon, and I have no idea what to get. I'm tempted to just get another Riva. Does anyone else experience equipment failure often, as if this is the norm, it's going to get rather expensive!

Sorry to hear about your charger problems Sharon. I use the Riva 1100Mah and have been very happy with no issues at all. When I have to replace the batteries I am planning on ordering the Kgo from Hoosier supply. This is supposed to be regulated a little higher than the Riva and Hoosier has a good price on them and I noticed the starter kits are not to bad either.

Would you consider the JoyeE a better performer than the Riva? I like the Riva, but don't have any experience with anything else, other than the Hello 016?
I guess it depends on which way you are asking the question?

It was toted that the original Riva's were 750mAh 3.7V batteries. Not true! They were Janty's 750mAh rejects. So the Riva batts were putting out 3.2-3.3V lust like the rest of JoyE products.

As far as longevity is concerned, I buy JoyE. 14 months out of my batts was nothing to sneeze at.

WRT vaping at 3.7 I find a better consistancy employing PWM at 3.2-3.3V than inconsisitent hits from a depleting battery at 3.7V.

Thanks! I'm having no battery issues, just the charger, with the Hello 016. The three batteries seem fine. The charger won't charge either of them. I've cleaned and raised the post, all to no avail. The light on the charger just stays green, as it did on a previous charger that failed. Is there a universal charger that I could buy for the Hello 016 batts?
Another quick question....if I were to buy a Provari, or something similiar, will it be a better performer, as far as longevity goes? I know that the vaping experience may be better, but my main concern right now is getting something that will last. Shipping to my location is killing me, and I have paid as much for shipping as for the equipment. I don't mind the initial cost, but when things fail, it gets costly.

I"m off to check out the Joy Ego, as you suggested...Thanks again!
