Hello. This is my very first post, I'll probably write about it later in my journal.

Anyway, if anyone wanted a little background, I'm 23, a stay at home mom, I quit smoking on March 30th,2009 and was actually doing REALLY well on the patches. I only slipped once in a month, but I missed my habit.

That's pretty dumb, looking at it now. Well, I had started smoking at 12, so, yeah, I was/am an idiot.

Anyhoo! More idiotic stuff: My first e-cig purchase was from epuffer. That crap was expensive! I got a "deluxe" starter kit for the "elite mini" thinking it sounded like a pretty good deal. WAY overpriced, I find out a couple of weeks later, searching other e-cig websites and what not.

So I do have questions here, let's see. Oh yes!

You see, as I mentioned before, the website I purchased this thing from was probably unecessarily pricey for what I got. SO, I am very new to this and would just like to know if I can get cheaper replacement parts for the model I have somewhere else?

An atomizer was like thirty dollars. I know that is unnecessary. I just need to know if there is somewhere I can order parts for this that won't be so ridiculously expensive, or if nothing is compatible with it? I don't know. Again, I think I ordered their version of a mini pen style.

yeah, I don't know much about this.

I had heard of the e-cigs a few months back and realized then that it was the thing of my dreams, I've always wondered why we couldn't "make" something like this as an alternative to inhaling numerous deadly chemicals on an hourly basis.

Then I saw these. And later I remembered how I missed inhaling those deadly chemicals, in a small way, and thought, well, I guess I wouldn't HAVE to inhale those deadly chemicals.

The e-cig is all right, the cartridges AND e-liquid that accompanied my e-cig taste like genuine crap and raisins and are kind of gross, so I don't know. I've ordered different liquid from somewhere else, a different flavor, so hopefully I can enjoy this thoroughly one day.

Oh yeah, the question was about interchangeable, cheaper parts for my e-cig, since I got so off topic.

Hi Chorizo,

Not sure which model you bought, but I think this is what epuffer sells:

Elite Classic: Pen Style, DSE801, RN-4072 ("dodgy" fit between some parts DSE801/RN-4072)
Elite Mini: Mini, DSE901, RN-4075
EAZE Magnum: M-401 (I think)
EAZE Super Mini: Super Mini, DSE103, RN-4081
EAZE MICRO: not sure what this is

Which model did you buy?

Thanks. Yeah, I "purchased"(I am placing it in quotations because I KINDA feel I got robbed) the elite mini, so that would be the 901 I guess.

Yeah, I just don't want to get stuck paying $30 for an atomizer or battery!

It doesn't have any kind of logo on it, so I figure it's pretty generic I guess and maybe I CAN get cheaper parts for it somewhere, I was hoping to find a US supplier as, that is where I live and apparently there's been some problems with overseas suppliers and FDA and customs and blah blah blah.

So right, any place that would get that kinda thing shipped fast in the US? I know next to nothing about this.

I ordered from dietsmokes . com(Check the suppliers sections, I can't post links 'cause I'm a noob) and got my order within a couple of days. Lots of people have 901 atomizers, as it seems to be one of the most popular models. So far, the three different suppliers I've dealt with all seem good. My other two orders have been filled and are in transit. Dietsmokes ships from just a few hundred miles from me, so it got here ultra fast. Maybe look for a supplier in your region. I'd order some spare batteries, too.

Just re-read your original post and I see that you DID mention which model you bought. Sorry about asking again. I haven't read through their return policy, but if they have a 'satisfaction' guarantee it may be worth looking into.

I sort of did the same thing with my first purchase and greatly overpaid for a super mini (DSE103/RN-4081) from SmokeStikUSA.com. However, I decided to keep mine. I found this forum and a lot of other distributors a week after my purchase. I figured I was happy with the product when I bought it, I used it and managed to get off analogs without a problem in that first week with it, and at the time I thought it was a good price for such a great 'invention'. So, even after learning a lot more about it and realizing that I overpayed and didn't get a 'great' model, I just kept it.

I then ordered the 801 starter kit (2 complete 801s, charger, 5-pack cartridges) from ecigarettecigar.com. Great price, extremely fast shipping, and fantastic/fast return communication on faulty battery return (he's outta 801 bats, but I have no doubt after talking with him that he'll send a replacement as soon as he gets them in).

Let us know what you end up doing and if you get quality parts.

Thanks again guys.

I know I have SOME kind of warranty on the parts of this "great invention" which it is, it is invaluable, but still, I could have gotten it a tad on the CHEAP side rather than the "reasonably priced but expensive" side.

I think the warranty is different for different parts, oddly enough. But yeah, I'm totally going to buy another kit here shortly. I only work a few weekends a month though. I think I've already decided what little money I do make is likely going to be invested into this new "hobby" of mine.

So yeah, it will be about 3 weeks or more until I order ANYTHING ELSE as I have already spent a bit of money and unfortunately, only have 1 spare battery and 1 spare attomizer. Well, hopefully it goes okay until then I guess.

But yeah, so far I REALLY like this idea, I LOVE this idea, I just paid too much for this idea and unfortuately, it came with nasty tobacco flavored e-liquid.

I ordered more liquid from JC, having heard good things about it, but I don't even think it has shipped yet and I placed this order three days ago.

So I'm too lazy to send it back I think, not until I at least have something else to use in it's place, but still, I contacted them three days ago about this and only heard back today, and I still don't really know how to return it.

I definitely want a 901 as I really like this model. I think it's pretty cool, though I have nothing to compare it to.

So maybe I will contact them about sending it back and getting something else in the meantime. I'll shop around here.

Sorry, I ramble, if I post here much, you will learn that about me.

Hi Choriza, did you happen to find some parts that fit your elite mini from epuffer. I have one and am hesitant to order parts unless i know for sure they are compatible. I was stupid enough to order an elite mini from epuffer after i already had a janty dura-c. 1 of my atomizers stopped working, i panicked and ordered the elite mini. I wanted something coming from canada so i didn't have a lot of choice and like you spent a lot more money than i needed to. (to be fair i ordered it on a sunday night and received it tuesday morning whereas i waited 6 weeks for the dura-c).
