Ive searched about this subject, found few posts but none had my question that I wanted to ask, most of them ask if the nicotine will be absorbed, and I know for fact that it is because I don't feel that I want to smoke analogs when I use my e-cig only in the mouth, sometimes I swallow and get the vapor out of my nose but I never inhale into my lungs.

My question is, even though most people think that vaping and e-cigs aren't too bad for the human body, some speculate that its' too early to say and not enough studies or experience is yet out about the long term effect of e-cigs, and in reality this sounds reasonable because e-cigs are pretty new to the market, none in the world been vaping e-cigs for 50+ years to know for fact that it's not too bad, even though most people see the ingredient and say that it's for sure not as bad as the real cigs/analogs, with all the bad chemicals that real cigs have, still you don't know for fact that e-cigs are better just because it has less chemicals or ingredient.

Anyway my question is, if I vape just from the mouth, will this decrease the negative effect of whatever it might cause of the human body? like for example if there is bad coming out of e-cigs (metaphorically), will vaping from the mouth and not inhaling would be safer than if you would inhale the vape inside of your lungs, or is it the same?

I ask this because if its the same, then I would like to inhale it actually and not go through all of this, but if it would result in safer use then i will get used to just vape in my mouth then tossing it out for just a little fix of nic.

My friend. Welcome.
I always wander what makes ardent smokers to become health aware people. It must be some ingredients vape has :)
And when I say this, same people would understand as if I tell "you had been smoking and dont bother vape!" which is not my intention.
You had been smoking and it was a fact that you were prone to very very bad side effects and this did not prevent you smoking despite its "proven" harms. On the other hand vaping only has a few ingredients and they are approved as healthy (Except nicotin) They arent combusting, How can it be more dangerous than cigarettes? There are 500+ ingredients in a cigarette even before lighted. funny enough there is glycerin, nicotine, aroma (I am not sure about PG :) ) in cigarettes too.
And asking if I dont inhale..... You believe only nicotine can be absorbed through skin. my. my.
If quitting smoking was that easy the patches would do it for you. But couldnt. Could they? You have to get rid of Hollywood effects before.

I had been smoking madly and after 40 + years I could not walk leave aside climbing subway stairs. I climbed one and climbed a hill after that performance (Only cursing to the subway authorities for this adventure) I repeat I was not walking without breathing breaks.
Also for probable side effects I did not intend to live another 61 years. I intended to live like a human being for whatever left of my life.

Thanks for all the responses, I didn't know alot of you vape only through the mouth like me....ive been doing it for the past week (since I started vaping) , because my lung really needs a break from all the analogs ive put into it for the past 20 years.

can someone just tell me how much of safer it would be to do this with vapor and not inhale it, or is it the same in terms of illness

I have said it often that the clear majority of those that post on here are hobbyists that are pushing the hardware for the best possible vape or just to learn via that pushing. There is learning in that and I, for one, occasionally read more than the first response. There is also a lot of news posted and that is good, too.

But, their are many, many vapers that are happy with just getting their nic as they are getting away from cigarettes. Many don't even take a lot of interest here because it doesn't pertain. But, lurkers, poll respondents, and those with minimal post numbers but an old join date are a part of movement, just not in a hobbyist way.

Those that don't lung inhale, intentionally, are also here. We just don't get as far in to the hobbyist side of it as much.

Whatever works. All should be supported. Getting away from the chemicals of regular cigarettes is very good in many ways.

Hi Skout and welcome to the forum! And you're welcome--glad to have been of help.

Like I said, the information provided in my post is very basic and pertains to first and (some) second generation stock coils. Your eGo One Mega is a sub-ohm tank; they come with .5 and 1Ω coils, which are built to withstand more wattage, provide more airflow and use thicker (lower gauge) wires than standard (non-sub-ohm) coils.

Cheers!
Thnx! I don't use the sub ohm (.5)
Wish I could use the ohm symbol!
Later!

All of the ingredients in e-juice are approved by the FDA (for what that's worth) for oral ingestion. That being so, I would have to say that if you "Clinton" your e-cig, you are as safe as you would be eating foods that contain the same ingredients. The x-factor in vaping is long-term inhalation of these substances. :2c:

So is hamburgers, hot dogs & steaks!
Now they say, point blank, they cause cancer! Hell, nothing is safe anymore, not even the air we breathe or the water we eat! So F___k it, enjoy yourself while you can!'
