Hi everyone,

My name is Jamie....im new to these boards but have been here looking aronnd for a few months now.

Right then first off I have completely given up smoking with the help of electronic cigerettes :)

Anyway started off with the njoy and to be honest its not that great, hard work and not a lot of vapor with a annoying cut off, but ah well was my first e-cig.

I now own the Tital 501 which is amazing but I have a quick question that I could not find the answer to so hopefully tou guys can help.

Right then I use the manual batterys at home which are amazing but for when I go out drinking I have the pcc which only holds automatic batterys.......(such a shame, anu adeas if there will be one that holds manual battries???)

Right question....The manual batterys are amazing with no cut off etc and a sick amount of vapour which I love...very very happy....

I was under the impression tho that the automatic batterys hade no cut of either but I do find that even with or without a primer puff when I take a drag the automatic batterys tend to cut off after a few seconds?? They sometimes work perfectly with no cut off?!?! When im taking a drag no matter how hard or soft the led will go out and sometimes while still pulling start again but alot and most of the time they cut off.,...which is very very annoying as I like a nice long drag to get my hit and plenty of vapor.

Now as you can guess this is very annoying as when im out drinking etc I like to take big hits and I was under the impression that even the automatic batterys have not cut off so whats going on?

I have 4 automatic batteries and 3 atomisers and have tried a combination of them all as well as changing the amount of liquid I put in as well as the drops onto the atomiser but still the same results, so please can anyone shed some light onto the subject for me?

Many Thanks

Jamie

Hi

I use the Titan as my current main e-cig, and its definitely one of the best out there, whether its called the Titan, Yeti or Dura C, all are still the Joye 510.

You ask about the cut off. Well in my first e-cig the cut off was around 5 seconds DSE 901. The Titan has a cut off around 7 seconds.

The cut off is there to stop you frying your atomiser. Note the atomiser on the Titan runs very hot.

With the manual switch, you are in control, but as very few people draw for a longer period than 7 seconds, it is not likely many will exceed that draw.

I have been told that the newer PCC's can accommodate the manual batteries. I have the older type so don't charge my manual by that method.

At home I use a pass through for the Titan, which works very well, if I run it off a USB/Mains Plug.

One positive with the Titan auto battery, is that there is no waiting time in between that cut off point and your next draw. Some e-cigs will cut off for periods up to a minute or so.

So all I can suggest you do is to take a fully charged manual out with you, which should last you a fair while, and then if that runs out use the auto in the PCC.

Igetcha69 has a video, showing how to modify the PCC so that it can take manual batteries, hopefully I have the link here.
