I just wanted to pop in and say hi, i started vaping this past spring. started with the Mistic (walmart special) and i was going good for a while, but because their cartos are expensive and last for shizz i went back to analogs. I am back with it now for the past month after finding the volt cartos from smokeless image (808) work on the Mistic.

I tried some of the volt pre-filled cartos and i have been very happy with there performance on the Mistic. So i ordered some blank cartos to use with my Tasty Vapor juice. My next step in vaping (because i am sick of the cig style auto batts) is an Ego, which is in the mail right now.
I got the 1100 mah kit, 2 batts, usb charger, wall plug, and two vison/stardust style clearomizers. I cant wait.

I have been doing research here and on you tube, and i have learned a lot. Thanks to a lot of people on you tube (mainly GrimmGreen/VaporChase and SteelJan)

I just got an order from Madvapes for some cartomizer drip tips, they are soooo nice i cant believe i have been dealing with those stock style carto endcaps for so long.

Welcome aboard Chrispixx. Yeah, those Volt cartos are pretty good - they are bottom coil.
An 1100 mah Ego is going to last for quite a few hours of vaping - enjoy! I've found drip tips make a bit of difference too - I like using them.

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on finding something that has gotten you off cigarettes. I ran out of patience with battery charging for my cig-alikes in less than a week so you did a lot better than me. Have fun with your new vape toys.

I too, got tired of charging the litle cig batts. It seemed like I was being a slave to it. Well, I just got a eGo Twist, and I'm a bunch happier. I'm even OK with the Tank Joye uses, but really want a Mini Nova.

those Volt cartos are pretty good - they are bottom coil.

I did find out through research the volt cartos are bottom coil, compared to the vertical coil Mistic cartos. I know every one has the own "coil" preference but the volt's work really good.

I went to my local flea market last Saturday and a vendor there selling ecig stuff had some old 808 thread auto batts lying around. He said he keeps them there in case someone needs something in a pinch, and to show people the progression in vaping technology. It looks similar to a 650 Mah Ego batt but with 808 threads, I put my carto on it and it worked. He sold it to me for five bucks, it has been working like a champ, and my mistic charger will charge it. It will get me by until my new Ego kit gets here.

i have a usb car charger from my Mistic kit. It should charge the Ego. it is only 1 amp but if i need too get a better one i will.
I am not sure i will even need one with the Ego, as i can charge the batts at home during the night.

i Have been looking at the nova tanks they are nice. i have also been looking at the Kanger t2 clearomizers.
