Hello everybody, glad to be part of this form.

I've been vaping for just over a year now. I started out with a LavaTube knock off, and it only lasted about two months before falling apart. Moved on to a Vamo V3 and an Innokin MVP that I've been happily using now for about 10 months. Looking into getting a new mod now and I'm unsure what the next step 'up' would be. I've been looking at the Tesla.. Damn cool looking device and the awkward button placement doesn't really put me off.. I have up to 125 to spend on a new PV.. Would like it to be VW/VV.. And size doesn't matter as I have fairly large hands.

Also looking into getting into RBAs. I've been using the typical ViVi Novas and ProTanks now for a while.. And though I'm more than happy with them.. I am also more than bored of them, lol. I also feel that it's worth noting that I have rebuilt the heads on both of those tanks, so I do have 'some' experience rebuilding.. Though I'm sure that an RBA is a little different based on the videos I have watched. I've been checking out the AGT Titanium RBA from MVS. I have up to 50 to spend on a new RBA.. If they're cheap enough (under 25 each [recommendations]) I plan on buying a second, if I like the first one. I've tried the kayfun and a few different style Genesis styles and liked them all.

All of that being said, help me spend some cash by shooting me some recommendations! Thanks in advance, I appreciate it!

I was checking them out.. I was debating one of them and one of the Z Atty clones (I Atty from FastTech).

I bought an I atty from fasttech;
No. Try maybe a bliss instead.

The i-atty uses slothead screws not the phillip head screws; pita to put back a slothead screw in the fillhole.
knurled nuts or bolts would be the best so you don't have to use a screwdriver at all.

Good to know! I'll take that into consideration. Perhaps for the 12 bucks, I'll just order it to check it out.. I might have Phillips screws that would fit.. I have quite the collection of them, hahaha.

I like the trident v2 clone. I have 2 of them and you can find them now for around $25. Extremely easy to build on for its size compared to other rda's I've used and tried.
I highly recommend going the RDA route. You won't be disappointed and you will find out just how easy it really is. People make it sound so daunting to try, but once you jump in its very fun and can never leave you bored because of how many different techniques there are to build. You simply can't go wrong

Like I said it has the slothead (flathead) bolts/screws not the phillip head; It comes with a small screw driver - I actually use the screwdriver it came with to wrap my protank coils.

If you could hire one of Santa's little elves to stand on top the deck and hold the bolt over the hole for you, then it would be easy to screw the bolt in!
:)

Now if it were a philip head, you might be able to stick the philip head on the end of a screw driver and it will be able to line up in place, upside down if necessary.

The bliss, and a few others, come with phillip head screws/bolts: basically same price.

Now, the Aga T2 uses nuts; so you don't even need to have a screwdriver if you need to recoil while you're out in the canoe fishing

You all have been very helpful! I'm going to consider all of the recommendations that were made to me and see what I think will suit me best. As I said before.. Rebuilding doesn't scare me much as I have rebuilt my ViVi Novas and ProTanks many times over.. Looking forward to having a true RBA.

Any recommendations on sub $125 mods? Would like to have VV/VW.. But VW isn't a must. I'm leaning towards a Tesla or iTaste SVD at the moment.

I would lean towards VW instead of VV. As a quick explanation, Variable wattage allows you to set the watts going to the coils. That is the true measure of how much heat your coils are producing. The coils change their resistance over time, and your battery can supply more or less voltage depending on how it's charged, but if you have a set wattage, it all stays constant. It's an oversimplistic explanation, but it should provide you with a brief idea as of why.

And as far as your VV/VW, I would get good batteries and a charger first, THEN look at your remaining budget for the device. I'll shoot you some recommendations for the batteries/charger....

VTC5 is the top battery. I recommend getting at least two.
Intellicharger I2 or I4. My I4 has been very reliable.

for devices, I hate sending someone overseas for this, but in this case, I have to. There are brass and stainless steel versions of the Vamo which is one recommendation. Most of the US sellers I've seen have the Brass version only. It will take some long shipping times, but this Fastttech's Vamo is Stainless steel. Big, but good.

They do offer the SVD as well.

Don't forget the Sigeli Zmax as an option.
