Sup Kenom:w00t: Looks like my "shell & Cone" will be commin' at ya tomorrow:thumbs: Hey, do you REALLY need the pic of the lettering on the shell? My Cam(cellphone) is refusing to send pics:grr:

Nah, if yer sending it to me, I'll see it soon enough right? :) You said you wanted it gone and I'm pretty sure I can get rid of it even if it's laser engraved. looking forward to doing your Vmod! I did send you an invoice didn't I? Was polishing included cause I charge extra for polishing? It's not much only $10

See that max, yer not the only Vmod owner who wants to make it cool looking :)

I've had plenty of time to post my experience with you Ken,and haven't. After all, this all started back on Sep 12th. This is what happened...

Early Sep: I shipped a IHy sleeve, and battery tube.

Sep 12: I prepaid for the anodizing ($40)

Next: Ken anodized the sleeve upside down, and had to strip/redo

Sep 19: I decided to go with a marble instead of a fade to avoid further confusion (extra $18)

Next: I get a "BTW" email stating he damaged the sleeve while polishing.

Shortly after: I receive the finished product. The sleeve had two dents on bottom, and wouldn't thread on.
The battery tube threads were anodized making it non-conductive. The parts were two different color
blues, and a noticeable scratch was touched up with a Sharpie. After contacting Ken he apologized,
and offered to replace the tubes, and refund my payments.

Oct 1: I get the $58 refund.

A week later: Ken buys replacement tubes from the IHy site. By mid October I'm back to square one,but
can only use the device in mini mode without the sleeve.

I'm not going into the downward spiral resulting from Kens work because I'm partially at fault. Faceless
(maker of the IHybrid) kindly helped me out,and I'm very grateful.

Yesterday: I start getting PM's from Ken stating "he's out $120",and demands compensation.
He mentions financial strain, and how his kids only eat once a day. He says the extra tubes
I accumulated through Faceless should of been shipped to him,and not back to Faceless.
Sorry Ken,that would be me stealing from Faceless, and giving to you. It seems that not being able to
acquire IHy tubes is making you a little crazy.

Wow are you totally misreading what I said. I just want the tubes that were sent to you. I don't want any extra stuff. Just 2 anodized messed up tubes. just because you sent the tubes I purchased as replacements back to Faceless doesn't mean that your not obligated to follow through on our original agreement.

$120 is as follows: Original anodizing $48, change of mind because you felt I was incapable of anodizing what you wanted to your satisfaction and not giving me a chance to do what you wanted $18, purchase of additional replacement tubes $50... total? $116 Did I ask for $120? Nope. I asked for the cost of teh tubes ($50) if you wanted to keep the original anodized tubes. PLus I even offered to reimburse you the cost of the wheel you purchased. I'll post every single PM and post the link to it so that folks can judge for themselves if I didnt' do everything to make you happy.

nor did I say my kids only eat once a day. I said "we" as in family together.. They eat at school, I only eat once a day to preserve what we have for the kids. Apparently you have your own form of english that nobody else knows because when I say one thing and you get something else entirely, that's not bad communication on my end.

I've decided I'm done. I'll post up the PM log and let anyone else choose how they want to take it. He can rant all he wants. I'm of the mind that I wouldn't take $1,000,000 from him even if he offered it to me on principle alone. I don't deal with thieves and liars. I like to think that if I mess something up I will do everything in my power to fix it and then some.

OK, I won't post it here, I'll post it for on my server for anyone else who wants to read it though. Not breaking any rules if it's off the forum.

It cant' be resolved in private. one of the parties involved has no desire to.

Anyway it doesn't matter seems that the unit is no longer even in his possession as he's sold it. so, this is primarily why I gave up and I'm tired of dealing with it. This will be the last I will publicly say on this matter.

Good news on the store front, I just received another Avenger telescope mod and will be anodizing it in the purple/turquoise/clear pattern. I'll post pictures when I am finished.

Avenger?????
I'll post pictures of teh unanodized avenger. It's a new telescope mod. Thing is tiny!
And I am STILL trying to figure out my design Kenom....lmao....but as soon as I do, and confirm possible...will be getting my mod off to you as well.

(so many design options, sooo few mods to utilise them on...ugh...lol)

Take your time, I don't want you regretting the choice you ultimately choose. I'd rather you get what you want than be unhappy. :)

Hey Kenom maybe you should include instructions on how to buy easy off oven cleaner and strip the thread anodizing if there isn't good contact.

I could as it's a pretty easy solution. I could even teach folks how to mask what they don't want ruined and remove it after it's all done. I think I'll put together a post about how to remove anodizing easily. Very good idea LongHaul.
