Hi All,

So I have a Ego-T in the mail today (a full kit) seen here. Joye eGO-T BLACKhen posting on the newbie forum I was told to get this, get that, its a better vape, its needed. I'm so confused. If a expert could please take the time to let me know if I should grab these things BEFORE I get my PV in the mail, or should this ego-T be sufficient as a starter.

I've been told to get the following, and to be honest I would probally get them IF I could find them at any of the canadian vendors (I have the list) although I cannot seem to find exactly what is being recommended in Canada, or without huge shipping charges on cheap parts. Id prefer to buy from a place that offers nic E-juice as well so once I get my system I could do a larger order.

Here is whats being recommended ASAP: Questions, what of these is needed before I vape, what is needed (or you highly recommend asap), and what can wait? And are we sure it all fits my PV Joye eGO-T BLACK ? I don't mind buying it all if its what you believe it will be the best, but do you know where in canada I can grab this?

Thank you so much for your time!!! There is so much information and stuff I still haven't learned (or understand) even though I've been reading for days.

I used the EGO-T also in black for about 6 months before I started going into all the other stuff out there. You will be fine with this system and some e-juice until you decide you want something more.

I still use this system on a regular basis and it has been 8 months now. Go with what you ordered and continue reading to understand what will work for you, don't get pushed into the latest and so called best until you are ready.

Go with what you have and some juice. Good luck, Maxine

Best is really subjective everyone has the're own preferences, but the eGo-T is a excellent starter kit, its very easy to use and the "tank cartridges" are very easy to refill and know if there empty, I don't actually recommend DC for beginners anymore because I've seen to many choke on them because of improper vaping technique and the amount of vapor they generate. All the manual e-cigs have a small learning curve to them as to how to use. If you want one that feels like most like a real cigarette and is the easiest to use, i would recommend going with a small auto e-cigs like the 808d or a 510 auto kit and you can move up from there and finding your own "best" e-cig.

I would just buy some cartomizers and juice for right now, honestly. You don't need drip tips or tanks, it's more advanced stuff. And you def don't need a carto punch at this point either. You will be better off to stock up on juice and cartomizers or atomizers if you prefer, those are both the most essential things.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I'd like to help, but I am a newb too. I have ordered some stuff but have not vaped in anger yet, so my advice would be specious at best. Have you visited canvape.com yet? While they do not have the juice you seek they do have excellent prices on most parts etc. Hang in there on understanding what you are doing. Read the FAQ's and ask questions. Cruise some of the suppliers sites. It starts to make a bit of sense after a while, but I am thinking that until you actually get one in your mouth you wont really know much of the details. I just took some advice and went for it. I ordered my gear today and should have it early next week. Like you I was wondering if I have got the right thing etc, but you know what? Once I realised it doesn't matter all that much I actually started understanding things a bit better! I can make adjustments on the fly. The stuff is way cheaper than tobaccy and easy to get. No biggie.

Enjoy your new bat and may all your trails be vapourous!

Hi and welcome to the forum! I'm no expert and I know you will get a lot of great advise from the fine people here. I started off with an Ego T as well and, for the first little while, I loved it. Mostly because it was so darn easy to use and fill! Loved the tank system and had none of the problems re leaking that earlier versions seemed to experience. You definitely want to get some cartomizers! Your Ego T is a 510 threaded battery which really opens your options as many parts are a 510 thread. As for cartos, this becomes a real 'hunt and peck' for the one (s) that give you what you want. Personally, I am a huge fan of the Kanger Horizontal cartos. Easy to fill, great vapor and flavor. But there are so many out there and, like I said, it is a real personal choice. The very best thing you can do for yourself starting out is to order this package - it gives a sample of most of the varieties out there without costing you an arm and a leg! It's an awesome deal.
Ultimate Carto Sampler Kit
This package will give you a few of everything including the tanks.

As far as juice goes, I see that the site you bought your kit from offers juice as well as many other great vendors in Canada. Might be worth your while to head up to the top where the 'stickies' are and request (via pm) that you receive the list of vendors for Canada so that you have something easy to refer to.

Best of luck and welcome to the wonderful crazy world of vaping!

Yep, the only thing you really 'need' right now along with your starter kit, is eliquid. A 5 pack of cartomizers is also a good idea so that you can at least try them out and see if you prefer one over the other (cartomizers vs. atomizer+cartridge). The rest is stuff that you can add on once you are up and running!

I started out with the 510s and couldn't get into them. I used them to supplement my analogs when I could not smoke. I upgraded to the eGo-t as well and LOVE it. I was then bitten the bug. I think I have dropped about $400 in the mast month on juice and gadgets (I'm a tech nut and my story is not the norm).
Your eGo should do you for a long time. My wife is still vaping on hers and prefers it to my "harsher" cartos and tanks. The ease of switching flavors with the eGo-T is what she loves. Pop out tank one, puff and couple to clear the atty a little then pop the new flavor tank in. Within a few puffs the new flavor is in.

If you are going to spend money I recommend juice ... try to find "your flavor" with some experiments

I agree ... I have two EgoT and you do not NEED the items that were suggested ... I can't figure out the drip tip recommendation, unless you plan on direct dripping, in which case why buy an Ego Tank system? However, you can direct drip if you choose on a tank atty.

And as far as cartomizers are concerned, well that is just another method of juice delivery that you can use if for some reason you don't like the Tank, or simply want variety.
