Hello everyone! New vaper here with a Davide Glassomizer on a SmokTech Winder. Great little setup but I'll be upgrading soon! I actually quit smoking before vaping using Chantix. I had used Chantix many times before to quit and it never made me crazy but about a week after my quit date it happened and I had to quit taking it. By some miracle a friend introduced me to vaping and I've been doing it ever since. Smoke free for 4 weeks now :)

So in my pursuit of a great vape I've been looking at the "just get it, everybody has one," Vamo. I really like everything about it but would love the Vamo v3 OLED screen on the much nicer-looking Vamo v2. Well, what do ya know, apparently these mods have been modded and they're calling it the Vamo v4. However, every vendor claiming to have one is all sold out. Anybody know of any vendors that have these?

Thanks and looking forward being part of the community!

How do you like the Davide? I have one on the way. JD

I love it! It's basically a ProTank II, but looks nicer IMO. I wasn't a fan of the drip tip, but hey, I can change that and did! It also seems even more "airy" than my previous evod but that doesn't bother me at all. It's currently sitting on my ego-type battery which at first, looked a bit funny but is growing on me.

I've been told to stay away from FastTech chargers. Is the Nitecore a good charger? I've also been told to only get AW IMR batteries. How do the Panasonic batteries stack up? If I can get a body-only Vamo for about $40 from FastTech I won't feel bad getting a quality charger and batteries if it's really worth it. Also, what the hell is a Vamo "Vivi?" Any difference between a v2 or v3?

I have the kit posted above and love it. Panasonic batts are some of the best. There is a very long thread about this site in the general smoking forum check it out. The charger above will shut off when batteries are fully charged but I always keep an eye on them. There are several safe battery threads on here check out battery university can't find the link right now.

I believe the v3 is just vw but the v2 has both vv and vw.

Oh wow, I did not realize that. I'm most definitely leaning towards the v2 now. It looks like Alibaba has a Vamo v4 for sale so maybe it's only a matter of time before vendors pick it up. But it's just a v3 in a v2 body, and probably not really a "v4."

The bell top bothers me, but I like the idea of Protank competition.

Interesting. The Davide reminds of the Protank I design, which I kinda like. The Protank II is more squared off. I was actually a bit disappointed when I saw Kanger had a new design for the Protank II.

According to the site mentioned about the V4 Vamo - it states the following:

new type e-cigarette vv/vw mod vamo v4 (vamo v2 body+vamo v3 PCB)

Wondering if it is because these didn't go over so well:
