Hello ECF! Finally took the dive into vaping!

Hi ECF members! I've been wanting to try vaping for a while, after a few spins with bad disposables, I decided to take the plunge with my pops because he wanted to quit as well. We both just started with the eGo kits the ones with 2 batteries, 2 cartomizers etc. I know I want to upgrade atleast a bit in the future, but that's later and not now. I was a marlboro menthol smoker, and I was suggested by our local shops employee to taste 'Diamond Vapors' "Port of Miami." I liked it enough to buy a 10ml, and I also tried the Contraband "Shank Berry" which I got a 30ml, as that's the only size they had. I'm enjoying the whole process of it so far, I admittedly smoked 2 butts since purchasing the kit around noon today, but I don't wanna just toss the few analogs I have left haha. Just looking for any friendly tips or welcomes to get us going.

On a side note I caught a whiff of someone vaping that Mothers Milk from SB while in the shop, and it smelt FANTASTIC lol. I see it has high reviews online but if anyone has tried it please let me know if it tastes as good vaping as it smelt!

And last but not least, any good juice recommendations, especially if they're similar to Marlboro Menthol, or Lights(what my pops was smoking)

Unflavored nic base above 12mg has a good light cigarette taste that's not over powering.

Hangsen ML iced, KO (Kool) or, dromedary (camel menthol) are good full bodied menthols.

Thank you for the reply Jeremy, I forgot to mention the nic levels haha. Both of the juices I got are 18MG(Port and Shank Berry) as I told the guy at the store I was smoking one pack of full flavor MM a day. I believe my dad got 18mg of Diamond vapor "The Boroughs" as he smoked 2 packs of lights a day, again as the guy at the store recommend. I will let him know of your suggestion, and I greatly appreciate the menthol suggestions!

Thanks Harlen, I was good on my vape till I had a beer haha, then I smoked half of an analog and went to my vape. Once these last few butts are gone think I might be okay! Just can't bring myself to trash em lol last time I did I bought a new pack, but then I didn't have a non disposable.

Welcome to ECF. This is pretty much the best place for information you could come across.

First bit of advice start buying paper towels in bulk lol.
Next I can really offer advice on juices, I haven't found any that resemble tobacco at all really. Taste however is subjected so someone will probably come along with something. Also don't worry about still smoking analogs. You'll hear it a lot here, don't worry about smoking a couple but remember everyone you don't smoke is a step in the right direction and a victory.

Thanks bud! Was vice versa here, he said he wanted to quit on Friday, and I don't wanna smoke inside if he isn't to be respectful. I'm just glad he was into the idea of vaping after trying disposables!

Don't sweat it, it will take hold eventually. As I type I am drinking my favorite beer and vaping one of my favorite liquids and couldn't be happier. At first this was a big problem for me, when I drank I wanted to smoke but it does go away. Once I found a good tobacco based liquid at the right mg of nicotine I don't even think about a smoke while enjoying my favorite adult beverage.

Also, yep I've still got the same pack of analogs since Saturday morning, they would of been long gone. So definitely going in the right direction! Appreciate the encouragement!

Awesome! That was one of my biggest worries as I do drink ( my pops doesn't) And I know soon as I have a beer or a shot I crave a smoke.
Other biggest worry is dropping a deuce haha sorry to be so blunt about it but an analog just helped nature along in the morning or night at home when I was smoking inside at home

I didn't drink for this reason until it took hold. I hand a couple packs left from a carton between the hubby and I and I HATED waste so we rationed them out. Our problem was in the morning. Also I went on a craze trying/buying ejuice. But the rationing helped a whole lot
