Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone. I'm on my first week off analogs and amazed at how easy it was to quit them using ecigs. When i tried to quite cold turkey or with other methods my main issue was that cigs were constantly on my mind and how I’m not smoking them anymore. It’s a breath of fresh air to know i don't need to go through that experience again due to what I’m calling a success story for myself.

Being a newbie I do wish I found this website sooner. I went with V2 ecigs, I obviously didn’t do enough research from the start. There are so many different options available it seems pretty confusing.
I recently decided to buy a kgo which I’m told is an ego clone as an upgrade to my V2. The battery life of the V2 is a problem for me, so larger battery should help me in that regard.

I’ll stick with the kgo for awhile. I hope kgo’s are decent. Any advice would be appreciated.

Mike

Welcome to the ECF! Good Job on quitting the coffin nails. I had a similar experience with quitting, after trying many other ways with no luck:mad:
Kgo/Ego's are a tried and proven device. Do you have a preferred juice? If you try other juices (part of the fun), I would get some sampler packs from various vendors - dont buy a lot til you know you will like it

I already started buying up some sample packs, there so many juices to pick from. I decided to hold off buying any more till i can come up with an opinion on each of the samples i have so far. I bought sample juice from V4L and Eliquidplanet recently. I'm liking RY4 right now.

Also make sure you have plenty of cartomizers. When I was new I went through quite a few. First learning how to fill them without burning, then trying all the different flavors of juices, then with some lower resistance for more throat hit and more heat and finally a few trying to punch to use in my tank. With the KGO, some juice and some cartomizers you should be ready to go.

Welcome and congrats on your success! I am glad you found it so easy to go from smoking to vaping, I did too! Amazed and delighted! Good choice on the KGO. You should be pleased with the performance of your new PV. I have a KGO and it is what I started with. I was lucky enough to find this site before I ever made my first PV purchase. With the research I did myself and all the great help from the members here, I skipped the smaller type and started a little bigger than a lot do. Whatever gets you started and keeps you going is great, so I'm not knocking the smaller PVs in any way :) I am just really happy that I did not have to go through buying a bunch of starters before I found a good unit that lasts me all day. The KGO is not really all that big anyway, I was actually surprised when I received mine. I thought it would be a bit bigger because it is hard to judge from pictures and such when you are not familiar with what they look like in person. Anyway, congrats and wishing you continued success staying away from the analogs! Keep us posted when you get your KGO and tell us what you think! :toast:

Thanks everyone for the notes. I'm still amazed at how quickly i got off analogs with e-cigs. I really don't have that desire anymore. Last weekend when i was still only 2 days off analogs i did have a urge but i blame that from the beer i was drinking, good thing i was with non-smoking friends at the time. However now that its been about 10 days i really think this can work for me. I find myself looking for new products, accessories, which has me worried abit LOL. I like my KGO btw, but i do find myslef looking at information about Mods and multi-voltage type stuff now...I'm keep telling myself to take it slow....
