Hi everyone, I've just made the decision to ditch my 20 a day habit in favor of vaping, the past 24 hrs i've gone from knowing nothing to reading various forums and websites re' all the various kits and items available, Think i've made things alot harder than just going with a Riva kit as originally planned !!

Quick facts I used to smoke marlboro lights till they got too expensive ( over 7.50 a pack!) switched to Pall Mall clicks (5.78, 0.6 mg)
i smoke 15-20 a day on average.

My problem is I love having custom kit, so while the Riva seems fine for starters I don't want to spend my initial budget on something then have to think about replacing it a couple months later.

So was thinking something along the lines of,

2x 1000 mah ego-c vv twist batteries
1x mini nova kit
chrome drip tip
usb cable charger
510 ve192 LR atomiser ?

Any thoughts on this setup or ideas of the best I can get for around 40.00 pounds

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated !

A twist and mini nova are a good way to start. You will need 2 of the Nova so that you always have a backup, the kits should have 3 heads in them, a LR/SR/HR (1.8/2.4/3.0 ohm). Find the right juice for yourself. Start slow and keep away from the AddToCart.jpg button for a while.

Welcome to ECF and Vaping.

I agree with what heater said. You will also need juice, get a few different kinds in samples bottles, or the smallest they offer. it might take a bit to find the right juice for you. Other suggestion one be one more tank, oh also a collar to cover the ego threads. Something like these: eGo Cone Thread Sleeves : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more I have the C one on mine, some like the B and D

Is that also called a Plinth ? saw them but wasnt sure what type I had to use with mini's ...

are these the same ?

Hello & welcome Iad :)

I'm also in the UK & I know you can't go wrong by buying from Vape Escape, their customer service is second to non.

However, if you would like to check out some of the pother good UK suppliers, have a look at this list -

ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK - E-cigarette/E-liquid Vendors List + discount codes

Thanks Chrissie, read a lot of your posts in the last day !! Thanks for all the valuable info :)

Is there anything you'd recommend for around 40 ish pounds, Don't want to be having to buy new kit for another month or so if possible ...

With discount codes, you could get the parts you listed in your opening post for about £50.00. However, I still don't think anyone can wrong buying a Riva kit for for round about the £35.00 mark (& even less with discount codes). I mainly use a GGTS, but for out & about I use the Riva & get just as good a vape from it.

Hi iad Great selection! You asked about the Kangers. personally I love them, and you can replace the "heads" when the original quits working (ie, no heat, no vapor) very cheaply and simply. It's a great "fill it and forget about it" clearomizer. Juice ratio: a) I'd recommend a 70/30 PG to VG ratio, and a 50/50 to start with as some folk do have issues with PG and or VG. But these are good starting points. Nicotine strength: I'd suggest an 18 and a 24 mg nicotine. 18 should be OK, and use the 24 for those "gotta light one up" moments. Later you may decide to move up or down depending on your needs. Finally, juice flavors - samplers, samplers, samplers... Check the forum suppliers at the top of this page and order yourself 3-4 samplers of juice flavors to begin. Then when you find ones that ring your bells, order a larger size immediately. If the juice tastes terrible, don't throw it away. Uncap the bottle and leave overnight, then recap, shake and store. Shake daily for a week or two or even three! Some juices will be great straightaway, others will need "steeping time".
Hope that helps. And welcome again

The drip tip is a luxury item that you don't need. The Vivi Nova comes with a 510 plastic drip tip that is removable and interchangeable with other things. Just so you know. Otherwise you have made good choices. You may want to throw a 306 LR atomizer in there for dripping which you can debridge and will find has infinitely more flavor than a vivi nova mini until you learn how to rewick them. Also, you may want to get a USB wall adapter.

More details on how to do all this stuff and much more can be found in the Vaper's Handbook. Everything you need to know in one easy location. The link to it is in my signature.

Everything arrived on time, Plenty of charge right out the box, used the cart's first with Deluxe prefill, very good ! Just tried the Clearo with menthol and WOW ! it's perfect !!! soooooooooo happy right now :) thanks again to everyone, I have not had a A-cig since early this morning .

Quick question though, I got a really small bottle of liquid in the pack, smaller than the menthol , no explanation of what it is though ! same as the cart's maybe ?

cheers again !
