Hi I'm John and I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum and there is one thing that I would like to start with. If I am wrong just let me know. I read this one thread about kicks. If you get a kick1 or Kick 2. Only get it if you are trying to stay out of sub ohm builds. A kick will allow for example a 1.8 ohm build to perform like a .9 ohm build. OK so you know how at a 1.8 ohm build it takes a little while for it to really heat up. Well with the Kick in it it wil Heat up fast about like a sub ohm build. Which is good. Why? Because with a 1.8 coil all the wraps cover a lot of space a lot of wick whatever it is that you use. Although your mod is not a dna 30 a kick will make that 1.8 up to really a 2.5 ohm coil perform very well. The Kick will really kick start that coil. Made for people who don't sub ohm. You can really blow some mean Vapor with a Kick with a 1.8 build. Nice to meet you all!!!

Not exactly true about kick. Kick just gives you needed power to fire high (over 2 ohm) resistance coils on mech and get quality vape!

Kick helps regulate the power or voltage of the device. You can use kick only in mechanical (mech) devices like nemesis, poldiac, caravela, origin, chi you etc.. These devices get the power from the battery and because battery life is dropping, the power is also dropping, cause it isnt regulated and you dont get good vape anymore. Best mechanical mods without kick can get you around 4 Volts on full battery, thats good for 2.2 ohm coils and lower but its not consistent vape... If you need more power, you safety against shorts and consistent vape, then your gonna want kick.

While with the mech you can use subohm coils like 0.5 ohm because no regulation and limits and no safety!!!, with most kicks and kick clones you cant. They go as low as 1.2ohm. Kick 2 goes subohm and dna20/30 devices and some other chips...


Subohming is really dangerous if you dont use IMR batteries and go too low with resistance. While resistance drops, the current rises and it can easily damage/explode your battery and harm you!!

So with low coil like 0.5 ohm and full battery on mech on 4 V , you get 8 A!!!! Most batteries are able to handle like 3 maybe 4 Amps max...
