First of all, welcome to our forum.
There's more to a great vaping experience than making "big clouds". Whatever keeps you off of cigarettes is what "works". Plus, its not really "smoke", its water vapor.
Your wattage or temp settings should be set to your own personal preference. Nothing is really set in stone, as individual preferences are subjective and vary from one person to the next. We generally tell beginners to start "low" and gradually work their way up until they find their "sweet spot", where they experience the best flavor and vapor production. Starting too high, power-wise, could burn your coil or wick irrepairably.
As you can learn from this thread, there is no "right" way to vape.
Best temperature setting for most vapor and clouds?
Generally speaking:
Lower Ohm Coils Will:
- Heat The Coil Faster
- Produce More Vapor
- Drain The Battery Faster
- Use E-Juice Faster
- Produce A "Warmer" Tasting Vape
Higher Ohm Coils Will:
- Heat The Coil Slower
- Produce Less Vapor
- Provide A “Cooler” Tasting Vape
- Use Less E-Juice
- Prolong Battery Life
There's more to the equation than just coil resistance. Pg/Vg ratio's of the e-liquid, wick material used, etc. among other factors determine flavor and vapor production.
So, experiement with coil resistance, wick material, and power settings to discover what works best for you. What juice delivery device are you using?
