How are you liking the vv v3.0? My friend is planning on buying one next week.

Hello Qball6: I must say I am loving it so far! Excellent unit. Very high quality. Holds a great charge. I have been using both Kanger pro-tank, and Kanger t4 with mine. I can get an entire day of vaping with mine using t4. I vape through-out the day at work, as well as before and after. With pro tank won't last quite the whole day since I have to run it at higher power setting then the t4. I guarantee you're going to like it. Its small, and fits in my shirt pocket okay. Getting well over 350 puff count from a charge.

Well even though I'm an OZ vaper I'm vaping in Tulsa right now. I was supposed to load a set of wings for a Gulfstream G650 here yesterday morning but as is always the case here they got pushed back at least a day. So sitting around getting bored watching Dish (500 channels and nothing on) I went in search of a vape shop to get the supplies to rebuild my Octopus RDA.

I found this place called Vapor Kings about 5 miles south of the airport here where I'm parked. I ran down there and they have everything, really nice and very high end shop. Was a little surprised they don't do any juice mixing but I have a few weeks supply from Dixie at Big E's so all good there.

Anyway I did my first RDA rebuild with 28ga Kanthal and 3mm Ekowool. Well it worked, tasted like **** and burned the heck out of my throat. I made a few attempts and finally came up with a micro coil that finally tastes as good as the original. After using up all 2 feet of wire I went back this evening for more wire, bought an Igo-w RDA, 2 more feet of Kanthal, 2 feet of 2mm Ekowool and set about trying to build a dual coil setup. Well it looks really great but my Itaste 134 will not fore the dual coils, guess the ohms are too low as it will fire only one coil, either one but when I connect both it won't fire. Yes I have a Fluke meter here in my truck and I'm getting about 1.8 ohms on 10 wraps so two coils is putting me at .9 which must be too low.

So long story even longer, I'm going to run back to Vapor Kings tomorrow when they open and gram a mechanical mod that will hopefully fire the dual coil Igo-w unless I'm cut loose from here then I'll stop by Big E's on the way to the house and grab one from them. (I prefer to support them as much as possible since they have been so supportive of my wife and I and now my daughter and her boyfriend)

Hello Catalinaflyer, good to hear you're enjoying the vaping, and having a good time with mod's, making you're own coils. I'm not sure I will ever get into the making of my own coils? I will probably buy a bigger mod someday, but for now I'm fairly happy with what I have. I'm definitely going to have to go to Big E's here pretty soon. Sounds like a great shop.
Not sure if you're a Chiefs fan, But Go Chiefs, let's make it 5-0 !!!

I got back to KC today and I'm here til friday so i figured a new juice would be a good thing and went to Volcano on your recommendation. Really cool people there and ended up getting some Rocket fuel Calamity Jane and Cuppa Jolt. Thanks for the recommendation

Glad they could help you out. I have a couple of Rocket Fuel juices that I vape regularly. Good juice that's made right here in the Metro.

Not much of a football fan but do support the Chiefs since they're kind of our hometown team.

As for making my own coils and such, just another hobby that doesn't take much time. Learning about what works and what doesn't is fun or at least to me it is. Went to Big E's on Sunday and bought a new Smoktech Galileo mod for myself and the wife picked up a new pink SID and Octopus RDA for herself (I get my black SID back now) plus a couple high drain 18650's and 6 or 7 more juices.

Yesterday I made a new dual micro coil setup in my Igo-w RDA, bored out the air holes and with it attached to my Galileo it's a cloud machine. Looks like a fog machine and the flavor is of the charts.

Oh and I'm home in Kansas waiting on the wings in Tulsa, seems to be a problem with inspections or some crap so I just came home Saturday morning to wait.

Hi all! I'm in the Derby area. I don't have a pv yet bet plan to get one within the week. Went to the shop on k-15 here in derby - McVapour - neat place. Prices seemed a little steep compared to online. I'm willing to pay some over online prices to support local but I believe they said $38 for a 1300mAh Vision Spinner that I can get online for $22. They do have a neat 'Vapour Station' to try their flavors. I'm going to have to check out Big E's before I make an online order.

Big E's prices are very reasonable for a B&M store, you will get cheaper online, but they don't have the costs of a B&M store, and the juice is actually around the same as a lot of online juice vendors, hardware is high, but no higher than other B&M stores, and that is mostly on they batteries, things like clearo's and coils are priced reasonable.

Nailz - Thanks for the recommendation. I understand that I will almost always find cheaper online and that b&m stores have a lot of overhead. I'm just looking for something that isn't jacked up in price "just because we can". I'll definitely check them out before I make any online orders.

Daydripper - I'll look into that. It looks nice. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, I did a search in KC and found a few. I am going to go this weekend. I am hoping to find one that allows you a taste. I have now purchased 3 bottles in a row that I do not care for. I'll save them and let them steep to see if it will help, but...

I know Volcano on North Oak in the Northland, and KC Vapes on Metcalf have tasting setups. I am fairly certain most of the other ones do as well. Volcano has the Volcano juices and some of the Rocket Fuel line (going to have all of the Rocket Fuel lineup next weekend), and I think KC Vapes had a couple of brands as well when I stopped in there a month ago.
