Hello,

After snooping around the forum for a while I decided to to quit smoking and buy a starter kit. I have never looked back ever since!
short version: I have ego-T 1000mAh battery. any suggestion on tank/clearo that does not leak? Also any suggestion on which site to buy them from?

I searched around the forum for a decent starting point and I decided to buy stardust clearo with ego-t passthrough. The startdust started to leak through mouthpiece and after few days vape tasted burnt! I tried washing one and other one I just kept refilling but both got same result. So I bought fluxomizer. But it also have problems. the cap comes off too easily and also leaked through mouthpiece. So im looking for clearo or tank that would not leak! or have any tips for fixing leaking issue?

I have had good luck with Kanger protank mini 2's. Less luck with their regular sized counterparts. My favorites are the iClear 30s tanks for my egostyles and MVP's. I also like my husbands iClear 30, it came with his MVP. I've been running these tanks for a week to a month without any issues. Gurgling is something I tend to get with Protank II and unitanks. And a little leak, usually just a drop but from what I've learned that's relatively normal. I still have a couple in rotation but they aren't my favorites. In order of favorites...

1. iClear 30s (plastic, but supposedly can handle tank killer juices ie: cinnamon, citrus, etc)
2. iClear 30 (can't take tank killer juices)
3. Kanger Mini ProTank II (v2) (glass)
4. Kanger ProTank II (glass)
5. Kanger UniTank (plastic, can't take tank killer juice)

Also, just a tip, when you draw, keep drawing a couple seconds after releasing the button. I found that reduces condensation and thus gurgling. Another thing, sometimes when you do have condensation it will appear like a leak on the battery. Try blowing through the tank from the drip tip and hold a paper towel under it to catch any condensation that comes out. Condensation can taste like the juice as well.

I've had terrible luck with every Kanger product I've tried. My Evod was an awful, leaky time. That is the only vaping casualty I've had so far, as I actually ended up throwing it away after fiddling with it for a week, getting gurgled on and covered in juice essentially the whole time. I've also had problems with the iclear30's leaking, and gurgling with pretty light and careful use. To me, they feel really cheap/poorly built.

The only clearos that I am sold on so far are the aspire bdc line. My favorite is the aspire bdc mini vivi nova-s glassomizer. I have been using one every day for the last two or three weeks, and I have yet to experience a single issue. No gurgle, no leaks, great draw and flavor, easy to clean, etc. You can find them for 7-12$, and in my opinion, are the best clearos around. I love the full size as well. Just be careful with the base/threads, as they are tiny and much more prone to get stuck.

Maybe it's just me but I cannot use kanger tanks. They just leak, and a lot. I've tried the protank 1, 2, aerotank, and the T3. Liquid, liquid everywhere. So far I've had more luck with the iClear 30s, other than its slightly muted flavor. I'd take that over leaking any day though.

Ditto on the Kanger stuff. Try a Vision brand Vivi Nova if you are using mild juices. They almost NEVER leak... they're relatively inexpensive and mostly maintenance free. (HAS TO BE Vision brand, not the knock-off's).

One thing nobody has mentioned, is what juice are you vaping? sometimes, citrus type juices may crack a tank, or damage it. I'd first check that out. Then I'd check out the PG/VG mixture. If you have an unusually high PG mix, that may be at fault as well.

Second, I've had no problems with a CE5. I rebuild my CE5's, using a 3mm wick, and that helps as well.

and lastly, what ohm coils are you using? sometimes a different ohm coil might solve some problems.

I got protank2 pro before I read more replies :( how does it leak? it seems pretty solid for now. I will try vivi nova and iClear 30s if protank2 mini gives me trouble! IBT is wayy too pricy for me lol. thanks everyone!

I have 2 Mini Protank 2's (made by Kangertech) with 2.2 ohm coils without any leaking issues whatsoever. My juice is a 70 PG / 30 PG mix right now (soon to be 65 PG / 35 VG ). I have had a gurgling affect maybe once or twice, but that's about it. I love it cause the tank is made out of glass and it's great. Definitely would never go back to an EVOD tank again simply the taste is better and I just love the tank.

I was thinking about getting an Aerotank moving forward. I do wanna see how the iClear 30 works out with the MVP 2 which will be my next purchase. Hope this helps!

For your eGo battery, Kanger T2's of 1.8 -2.0 ohms, and 2.0-2.2 ohms are excellent. I use eGo and Provari batteries (the latter with a 510 adapter). You can tip the juice right out of the bottle and dribble it into the clearo, the heads are replaceable - unscrew the one, screw in the other. They're the ultimate fill n go (and a godsend to this poster because I am severely technically challenged)

It is solid--if you pay attention to what you're doing. Do not over tighten you PT onto the battery and make sure that the atomizer coil is screwed into the base tightly. And that the tank body is screwed tightly into the base.

I have used every Kanger BCC from T2, T3, T3S, eVod to ProTanks and never ever had a leak. :)

Good luck.
