hello! looking for leak proof clearo or tank!

...And I'm hoping to start a nuclear reaction that occurs at room temperature! :D

Seriously though, there really isn't any such thing. All clearos leak to some extent, some are more prone to it than others. Usually serious leaking is due to a faulty product, or user error. Some things to do...Make sure the gaskets are all in place and that they are in good shape. Do not over fill. Do not remove wicks/invert gaskets/remove gaskets etc. (Note: I sometimes do these things, but I fully understand that by doing so, I am altering the original design of the device, and any problems with it are my own doing)

With those items in mind, I have found the Iclear 30s, and top coil clearos in general to be more trouble free as far as leakage goes than bottom feeders. Most leaking problems I have had with bottom coil clearos is due to the coil not being tight enough, or the wicks being out of place or just worn out.

iClear30s is a fantastic bit of kit, not had a single leaking issue from it. Most people seem to think "Build up" is the same as "Leaking", basically it's just the water vapour cooling back down again in the airflow tube and since it's water vapour it will turn back into water again, this is perfectly normal and can be avoided :)

Give your atomiser/clearomiser/tank a quick tip upside down every now and then when it's still hot, usually just after a vape and you'll see bits of vapour dribble out sometimes, this is the stuff that would ordinarily turn back into a liquid again so letting it dribble out early stops the problem before it's a problem :)

I picked up a couple of Kanger Airflow Control Valves for my PT2 & 3. Working very well, resolved several "issues" with these tanks. I also
on the Kangers, including the minis, dry burn the coils regularly and add or remove flavor wicks for different juices. Plug & Play it's not, but
they all work. I only use glass, and I like the Aspires as a rule, but some of the new BDC's have a cruelly stiff draw.

I've had good luck with the iclear30, myself. I prefer a warmer vape, though.
My only real niggles with the iClear30 were no drip tips and the wicks being a touch fragile, I like to pad mine down instead of rinsing them and i always end up breaking them off, Feels a bit like the 30s was basically made for me sometimes :D

I got protank2 pro before I read more replies :( how does it leak? it seems pretty solid for now. I will try vivi nova and iClear 30s if protank2 mini gives me trouble! IBT is wayy too pricy for me lol. thanks everyone!

Protank 2's are great... please don't get me wrong... They leak onto the battery (a little) and I take a napkin, clean it out, and keep going with my day. They are solid, you made a good choice.... Just check the battery every once and again to make sure it's free from residue!

Are you using a 510 adapter as Kanger is eGo specific? I use the T2's on the eGo batts, no problem. For the Provari I use the 510 adapter from Provape with the Kanger T2's and no problem. Another key perhaps is to ensure you're buying the the real thing, not lookalikes and knockoffs (sometimes not necessarily that obvious).

.
Maybe it's just me but I cannot use kanger tanks. They just leak, and a lot. I've tried the protank 1, 2, aerotank, and the T3. Liquid, liquid everywhere. So far I've had more luck with the iClear 30s, other than its slightly muted flavor. I'd take that over leaking any day though.

Hello,

After snooping around the forum for a while I decided to to quit smoking and buy a starter kit. I have never looked back ever since!
short version: I have ego-T 1000mAh battery. any suggestion on tank/clearo that does not leak? Also any suggestion on which site to buy them from?

I searched around the forum for a decent starting point and I decided to buy stardust clearo with ego-t passthrough. The startdust started to leak through mouthpiece and after few days vape tasted burnt! I tried washing one and other one I just kept refilling but both got same result. So I bought fluxomizer. But it also have problems. the cap comes off too easily and also leaked through mouthpiece. So im looking for clearo or tank that would not leak! or have any tips for fixing leaking issue?

the kanger aerotank is the best i have found. it separates the coil air intake from the battery so it never gets wet. there are many variables that contribute to leakage. what type of wick and how much wick. style of draw or drawing without firing affect the amount of juice entering the coil chamber. i don't think leakproof is an option that is available as yet. eventually with the aerotank you will get some liquid and have to remove the coil when filling to dry the air chamber. at least gurgling will occur prior to leaking outside your tank and alert you to remove the coil. these things are popular but i think still plentiful. mine came from gotvapes.com. the price was $26.95 early february. they may well be less now. the aero is a bottom dual coil and i advise getting some spare coils with your order whichever you decide. the aerotank base is available at avidvapor to upgrade protank, tank II, and tankIII. the tankIII is dual coil like the aero. the others use kanger universal single coils. how is it that you are getting leakage from the mouthpiece? vaping lying down?, upside down? i think any device can leak condensation there if inverted. keep your mouthpiece up and happy vaping!

I get the feeling that I'm one of maybe 3-4 people on the planet that likes the tip that comes with the the iclear30. I haven't tried the 30s variant, so I can't comment on it.

I actually drop mine (the coil heads) into a cup of boiling water and let it sit in there overnight to leech out, and then let it airdry. I have mult tanks, and several coil heads I rotate for cleaning/drying/using.

I am a bit bummed that the new "X" tank they came out with is a bottom coil. I'd give it a try, if they made it a top coil.

I have several protanks, evods and others that use the same or similar Kanger coils, most of them leak even if only a little bit (check the threads on your battery or mod), the ones than never leaked for me are the Nautilus, Ismoka bcc, Iclear 16 and I clear 30 & 30s.
Overall I like the Nautilus better because of the adjustable airflow, and flavor.
