Hello new member - I need to decide a couple of things TIA

Hi, After reading up on this for the past two days, I didn't think this would be this complicated. There are so many more options than I expected...

After reading DonDABoomVape review I think I have decided on this MaxX fusion mini. Is there anything similar I should look at before I totally decide? I know after reading you all seem to like the big ego's but I need something smaller. I don't smoke in my home, in public, have become a secret smoker of 1/2 pack 2-3 puffs at a time on my deck at night...lol.

I am particular about the menthol taste and have smoked kool milds for years and can tell the difference vs other menthol brands. Will the menthol carts be enough in the starter kit be enough to get me started? Want to get off analogs 100% finally.

Is there anything else I should get with the started kit? How do you decide which nicotine level is right? Can you vary it up or down?

I always recommend manual batteries. You won't have to worry about a juice leak getting inside the battery and ruining it. Manuals also give you more control over your experience.

It is and, coming off Kools, you may find yourself wanting a DIY blend of a tobacco flavor and a menthol but, do try the menthol alone from a few suppliers before deciding. I smoked menthol as well and found I like vaping a blend or RY4 or a tobacco flavor with a menthol cough drop in my mouth better than straight menthol juice.

Yeah I can tell the difference between, Kools and other menthols... I just decided to just decide today and get something. I am sick of hiding out in the backyard!

Welcome to the vaping experience, Kat! Just don't give up if the first several juices you try don't give you the taste that you're accustomed to! Buy small amounts of several different vendors so you aren't stuck with huge bottles of juice you don't like.

Also, I can tell you now, as you vape, you will want/need to add some variey as one juice will begin to taste different after a while.

^^^ about getting different juices. If you dont find you like menthol, cause it prolly wont meet your expectations, then go with something you think you would like the taste of. I went with fruits and candies. It worked for me. Hope it does for you too!

Grats!!! I am not a menthol user but Halocigs may have some menthol cartos for their G6 (Halocigs G6, Vapor4Life, Smokeless Image Volt, Bloogplanet are all KR808D-1 threaded cartos). I know Vapor4Life has a Nuport. Some time you might also want to try their WOWboy (it's in the WOW Tobacco sampler) - that is a cocoa tobacco with a bit of mint.

In KR808D-1 I seem to get longer good performance out of each carto if I use thin clear juices - 20% or less VG, and juices that leave little or no flavoring sediment (often these are light color juices)

My first KR8's were Vapor4Life manual shorties (180mah) and then I went to the longer standard size for the longer charge (280mah) and recently added a Smokeless Image Volt 78mm manual is Raspberry color to my set (same size as V4L standard)

And BTW - the KR8's are real 3.7v minis and some of those V4L flavors have a pretty sharp edged hit, especially on their WOW cartos. If you like a flavor but the hit is too much then try one nicotine level lower - you won't have a nic fit and it will feel better to drag - you can make up the difference with a couple of extra drags if you want.
