I think people are hung up about Bloog form factor looking like a cigarette, but I am trying to keep things practical and as simple as possible

If you really want to compare the the two kits with the cartomizers included, The Riva 510 only comes with one battery that should last about 4-5 hours on average depending on the type of cartomizer used. (ohm resistance).

The deluxe Bloog kit comes with 2 78mm batteries about 4-5 hours as well) , so you can also have two assembled pvs with you at all times. If the Riva 510 battery goes, well you have no more pv and back to analogs you go.

It comes with two batteries.
20% off your whole order!

The batteries last longer than 4-5 hours. I use one every day.

BTW, you're the one that said how long the Bloog battery lasts. Re-read your own post.

If I fill both a blank bloog carto and a blank smokeless image carto with the exact same e-liquid (BWB Malty Toffee 30pg/70vg) and vape it, it tastes different and battery life is different as well. The Bloog carto ohmed out at 2.66. Battery straight off the charger at 3.71 and under load at 3.61. The smokeless image carto ohmed out at 2.15. Battery off the charger at 4.29 and under load at 3.6 The battery on the bloog lasted a little under 2 hours. I got a little over an hour out of the smokeless image volt. What is even stranger is that there were no wicking issues with the volt cartomizer, But with the Bloog I would get an occasional dry hit under the same approximate usage.

hello,

the quote I gave are for the 65mm batteries for both the bloog and the volt.

Also, the Riva kit that I do have from liberty flights only came with one battery and my riva 750 lasts about that long in use when I do bother using it.

Anyhow, I am still waiting to read about your cartomizer and cartridge filling methods please.

I bought a bloog after trying a 510 first. 510 was cool for a few reasons, but to me the bloog was far closer to regular smoking. I think the batteries are amazing for their size. In fact, I went on a drunken camping trip with the same dude with the 510, and by the end of every night he was asking for my spare bloog battery lol

Again no knock on the 510, but with the bloog I accidently quit smoking, I can only vouch for what happened with me. Either one should be good if you have the will to quit. I agree with WTQ, you can get all the components individually so get a batt, charger, and pack of cartos for cheap to start, the expand your collection if you like it or move on.

Cheers good luck!

Yes I mixed up my 510's, I am quite dumb today it seems. Sorry for that :(

Will you please stop being so argumentative?

There's a lot of good info in this thread on both devices, some was put here by you. But the OP came here for help, not a bickering session...

hello,

I am not trying to be argumentative.

If swedishfish does have a method of filling 510 cartos that doesn't involve syringes. Hell, I want to know as it would make my life so much easier.

What exactly is wrong about trying to learn something new if possible?

Some people on this board do not realize the Riva 510 is an Ego-sized device, not the size of a 510 mini. Riva battery is about 14mm (1.4cm) diameter and 650mah+. The mini 510 is about 9mm diameter and 180mah (or 280mm for the mega xl 510). The Bloog is about 9mm diameter and slightly higher mah's than the mini 510 (and Bloog is only available w/ auto batteries).

Bought my Riva at Vapor Junction and love it. 1100 mAH battery that lasts me 2 full days. A 1.5 dual coil cartomizer would cut that time down a bit, but not to 5 hours for sure.

Correct sir, I indeed think for some reason he was talking about the mini 510's and not the ego style. My bad.

However I will offer a correction of my own, as bloog does have new manual maxx fusion batts out right now, I have the 102mm going as I type this and it's excellent so far!

Good luck op!

Hello,

thanks for the info, but to get by in daily life (especially work) I need small discrete form factors.

So, my current daily work carry is (1) 65mm bloog maxxfusion, (1) 65mm smokeless image volt, (1) 78mm bloog maxxfusion and one little sister vv with a 2ohm xl carto.

I just stick pen clips on the cartos, and leave them in my uniform jacket sleeve. no problems.

This setup gets me through 2 full time jobs on a daily basis.

The Riva, The inferno AKA Ego, The Reo Mini, the Provari and other misc pvs are all the ones that stay for at home use.

I purchase cartomizers with the rubber tops, usually boge 2.0, or from ikenvape. I pop off the rubber top and drip juice in. I don't know what else you want me to say. It's exactly the same method as filling a KR808 cartomizer with a soft top. I fill both types pretty much every day.

Do you have more success this way over the "condom" or eyedropper methods? (As seen here : YouTube - ‪Refilling 510 Cartomizer‬‏ )

Just curious.

I think it's a little messy. I have tried it a few times and it does work. I just drip it in. I drop in 10 drops, shake like a thermometer (or polaroid picture!) add more, shake until it's full. Juice from Vapor Station comes in a glass bottle with a dropper so I use the dropper for that juice.

I use a syringe to fill the dual coil cartos because it's a little faster. But you could just drip that in too.
