Hello all would like to start off saying that i have been smoke free since july 5th. And vaping is well starting to become a hobby :p.

So I am currently using a kanger E-Smart not to bad of a lil pen style. honestly the tank suck without some sort of tweaking best tweak is to remove those wasteful things called flavor wicks.

So anyway to some questions I am a pretty handy fellow and already have mastered the tearing apart and re-coiling/ re-wicking a kanger E-smart clearo. Yes they can be done :p

But i am starting to expand i have a egoT and kanger mini protanks on the way. I am not a fan of these 3ml+ tanks just to big to carry around so the mini protank will probably be my last tank hopefully till i atleast get hands on a mini pro II lol.

Now to my question well really one i guess. Wicking materials i see tons of SS,ceramic, cotton, ecowool i am sure i could go on. Coil making is not a issue.

But i guess my question is to re-wick my e-smart tanks and miniprotanks when they get here. Is cotton as great as people are saying and i guess my real question is if cotton is good has anyone tried Butcher's Twine. It's 100% cotton. I was thinking butcher's twine for my e-smart clearo's to get the length needed for the tank. Any ideas and has anyone tried it.

Thanks in advance. And sorry if this is all in the wrong spot.

Lol sorry I didn't even notice that asked, my reading comprehension is in a constant battle with my inattentive mind haha. Never tried butchers twine (i just use sterile balls from CVS) but I would assume it would work, but I guess that would depend on its absorption capability. Probably want to try boiling it first to get any impuritys out too. But again I don't know, just my assumptions.

Edit: I know cotton rope works, wouldnt that be pretty much the same as butchers twine?

Yes i have seen alot of talk about the cotton balls. <<<< also many other werd places to get their cotton but ya thats another topic lol. But since i would like to re-wick my E-smart clearo's and their top coil. And well butcher's twine is 100% cotton and food grade lol. Just seemed like a good idea to get a long wick for a top coil. Maybe i'll just give it a try what can got wrong some scorched cotton string lol.
