I've bought just last month from Vapor DNA... no problems with them at all, fast shipping quality product.

Ive never purchased from elementvape..

I've seen good things from DNA, but I can get the same thing from element with 4 batteries and a pack of replacement coils for the same price, so I'm teetering here haha. The only thing I'd miss out on is the free OBS damo tank.

Would anyone here know if elementvape or vapordna are good websites? Those are the two I'm looking at prices between.
I've used both. Both are good but I like VaporDNA better. Use vapecrawler.com to price check. Eciggity is a good site as well.

Once I clean it up, I'll let you know lmao. I think there is minor damage to the lock ring due to tightening it too much and having to use pliers as well as a ding or two to the bottom press button. But honestly if it goes to a good place, I would probably just give it away for the cost of shipping.
If it goes to opinionated, rest assured it’s going to a good place. The best, in fact.

I'm actually pretty sold on the Smoant Cyclon, I think I might order one of those.
I was interested in the Battlestar, but I can't get the color I want in the online shops that I'm checking.
I'll check out the minikin 2 though.

The Cylon & Minikin are both great mods. Definitely ones that I would have in the top part of my list for recommendations.

Hi and welcome. There's nothing wrong with your Siggie, most likely. If it still works, by a pair of LG HG2 batteries for it and start working on tanks before trying a new mod. You said coils in the 1.5Ω range, so I'm guessing you're a MTL vaper. In that case, try a Nautilus X tank.

i have to agree with the last poster some of your stuff sounds alright might just need a little help getting everything working right again I saw you said something about subtank/toptank those are good tanks not the best but decent. I would get some new batteries and coils for some of the stuff you already own then come on hear and say what you like about them and don't like that way we could recommend something closer to what you want

@DevinC - ElementVape is a good operation and I recommend them. They are always less expensive than VaporDNA. You can also sometimes find things for less at EightVape, Breazy, CloudyPeaks, and PeakVapor. I have done business with all of them and never had a single problem.

You have gotten good recommendations. I am an Asmodus Minikin V2 lover and can't say enough good things about that mod. The Battlestar is also a great mod. Whether to go with a Cylon or a Minikin V2, or something else is about what feels comfortable in your hand.

I saw this post earlier and didn't comment. I actually searched for it so that I could say that you should buy what you like because the most important thing is to get off the stinkies and if a Smok mod does that for you, then YAY for Smok. If you are like most of us, whatever you buy now will not be your last mod so it isn't as if you are getting married to the thing. I got off ciggies using Ego C batteries screwed into cartomizers. FInding the perfect mod and tank is a journey. For now, buy something you find attractive and that does the basics. Best of luck!

I will give my thought processes for why I suggested what I did.

One. The OP has a 100 watt device and wanted something more powerful.

Two. The OP used to build his own coils and was happiest doing so in RDA's.

That means, that he also knows about airflow... and likely needs it more than his subtank can provide - which he views as worthless junk.

Because the RDA's he used are older, he probably doesn't need full on DL tanks - but that leaves him in an in between category of vaper known as the restricted lung vaper.

It's a black hole... this means he either needs a MTL tank that is airy - or a DL tank that will close down somewhat.

To know which will suit him best is going to be by experience only... he won't know until he tries. So he needs to start with what he wants and is asking for, the more airy DL tank...

If that doesn't work, then we can suggest some of the newer MTL tanks that open up nicely (ie: more airy)

He has some experience vaping, so it's best to begin with taking some cues from his own thoughts first...

He doesn't like what he has for various reasons... no point telling him to use them anyway.

I have a few c1d2's and a double barrel. They're great....

But I bought my wife a minikin v2 because she thought it looked neat. I was kinda surprised. It's an awesome mod. Small for a 2 cell and very simple. Fit and finish are fantastic. She loves it too.

I've ordered from both, elementvape and vapor DNA. I ordered the minikin from elementvape due to color choices and it was roughly $25 cheaper. It was delivered to Atlanta 2 days later. Both companies are great, though.

Glad you found your way back to us.

Ok, maybe I am off the thread of the thread... that sounds odd, but you guys-- I hope-- know what I mean. OP, if you wish to continue building coils, let me recommend the Serpent SMM tank to you. It closes down far enough to be considered a true MTL tank, and will open wide enough to please a cloud chucker, plus having PEEK insulators so its also good to go well above 100W. It's my go-to single coil tank for flavor.

If you really want more than 100 watts (my throat hurts!) you've heard some good recommendations. Let me add I've had good luck with Wismec mods.

Good recommendations.

You might want to give Vapecrawler a try. It' kinda like a Google search for vaping gear and it also lets you know if any of the sites listed has a coupon code.

It doesn't cover every site out there, and it will sometimes link a site that may be out of stock. But it's a go-to site every time I go shopping.

I'm like you, @DevinC. I got away from the community for a while and was blown away be how much technology had changed.

My SMM is my most used tank. I've put something like 1500ml through it since i've gotten it. I love it but I don't agree with most of you wrote.

The SMM has a single coil deck made for sub-ohm vaping. Even with the airflow turned down the chamber is way too big for it to be considered MTL.

Being a single coil deck it also has a hard time getting to 100W. You would need to use a coat hanger to get something with the gauge to make a build targeted at 100W.

The tank really shines with something that has a really large surface area but doesn't take years to heat up. I use dual core fused claptons, but it's more suited to ribbon builds or tri-core claptons. The airflow is it's niche; being single coil it won't ever be a cloud chucker like a large dual coil RTA. To really take advantage of the airflow you need to make a coil that runs the span of the posts.

Everything about it says it's about a thick restricted flavour vape.

In my opinion anyways.

I have no problems recommending it to anyone as a single coil RTA, just not for the same reasons.

Unlike most, I love Smok products. They really give good bang for your buck. I bought an Alien when they first came out, and it performed very well. The finish issue was a bummer, but it never stopped performing. It is now almost pure zinc. I bought a new Smok Majestic for Christmas, and it looks like they have really improved the finish. I also love the Baby Beast tanks. Currently using a Big Baby Beast. There are a variety of coils to suit your preferences. I have been vaping for a while, been through all manner of equipment, and appreciate Smok's apparent attempt to up their game.

As always, YMMV.
