Hiya! I'm Hippiechick.
I gave up the Nat Sherman unfiltered cigarettes two weeks ago after 40 years of smoking them. I had a bumpy start with vaping. I started with the Atlantis 1 tank. The B&M shop that sold me my Aspire Atlantis and Aspire CF sub ohm mod sold me counterfeit items. The thing is I loved the Atlantis, but felt totally violated by the vendor. (FYI, it's the Smoke & Vape Shop on Victory Blvd. in Burbank, CA, USA).
After I called the shop to tell them both my tank and my mod were fakes, that I had already notified Aspire and had their shop put on the "copycat" list, and threatened to contact the California attorney general for selling counterfeit items. The shop said to come in and they would refund my complete purchase. And although Smoke & Vape insisted he didn't know his merchandise was counterfeit, I didn't believe him. But I did get my $100 back.
So I found Vapor Beast here in southern California, and ordered the Aspire Atlantis 2 tank, with the Aspire CF sub ohm mod. It got to my house in only one day, and for only $75, which was awesome, and I now own the genuine articles! The Atlantis 2 is absolutely fantastic!
A couple of things I've noticed. When I got my rig, I bought 16mg tobacco flavoring (by Kalari, which was quite tasty), thinking I would want a high nicotine tobacco flavor. It's ironic, that after a day or so, I hated the flavor of tobacco e juice, and I moved down to 12mg nicotine. Only 3 days after that I moved down to 6mg, as I was hating the "throat hit". I am currently vaping 1 - 2mg a day, and can already tell my lungs are happier!
So I've been on a flavor buying binge, trying to find my "brand". I'm loving both Virgin Vapor and Alchemy E-Lixirs, (both organic, both from California, both 100% VG) in several flavors. Though I want to find a strong English black tea flavor in a 100% VG, preferably slightly sweet and creamy, just like I like my tea. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
I've made this a really long story, when I just wanted to write a short introduction, as this is the only forum I can post in for four more posts! So hello!
