Hello Reoville, it's been a long time since i've posted here! I've been happy as a clam with my RM2 and standard reo grand! My GF has her RM2 and LP reo that I bought her not too long ago. I have some questions about subohming.

I vaped on my GF's brothers mech mod at .5 and I know the reo's will go that low. I loved it because it was a lower nic, more cloud and was great to "lung hit." I've never been a fan of lung hits and subohming until last night. I know i'll have to upgrade my standard reo (buying the rebuild kit today,) because I bought it about 7 months before the subohm "kit" came out. My GF's reo however, I can subohm now.

I guess my question is, what rba do you like to run on your reo's for subohming? If the RM2, do you bore the airflow hole? What batteries are you guys using? Right now I have the AW 18650s. 1800 MaH, but i've been reading quite a bit about the sony's.

I actually just visited reosmods and WOW. There are a TON of new RM's. What are the differences and are there any that are better than the RM2?

Thanks for everything guys. You're the best!

I love my nuppin and odin. If youre gonna sub ohm, make sure youre using good aw imr batts. Preferably the 1600s, you can get em over at rtd vapor. And make sure you watch super x drifters video about ohms law and battery safety.

Oh, and chowderhead over at catfish atty mods has ALOT of bottom fed attys to choose from. Good luck and be safe!

Your main issue is going to be getting enough air into a RM2, so you'll need to drill the airhole bigger. The RM4/Atomic is a great atty for an introduction to sub-ohming and it's not so big in diameter that your Reo door only slides down. It has AFC (air flow control), so no drilling required and allows you to make it as airy (or not) as you please.

Any 20A battery will do you just fine, right down to 0.21Ω and that's really pushing your Reo and batteries.

I will definitely look into chowderhead. I've already read up on the whole ohms law & battery safety. I will however, do a refresher course before I start dropping below .8

Rob can do it for you - i want to say about $25, but i just stuffed mine on a belt sander!

Either way - it really does open up a world of possibilities for atty choice, such that unless someone is an old school carto user, i don't recommend they get an original Grand.

If you hold on 2 weeks or so until the new 510 connectors are available , then you can get new contacts, haircut and new - unbreakable 510, all at the same time.

Do you think I should just hold off for 2 weeks and then PM rob about sending my old school standard in and having all that done? I didn't know about the new 510. I'm super excited now!! I sort of wish Rob would take off LP reo and have that as the normal reo and have the "normal" reo as a "limited" reo. I bought the standard over the LP simply for the fact I thought the "LP" was a more advanced version. I feel like the LP is the all around best mod ever.

Well, i mention it because i'd hate for you to send it in for modification and then 3 days later, something new appears!

The enabler in me says "just buy 2 then", but i have a fearsome wife who makes budget decisions like that!

I really am tempted just to buy a 2nd reo in a few weeks for myself and just keep the standard as is LOL! Can never have enough of these bad boys laying around.
