ok so i should stick to the VE Riva or this Mini eGo. There are days i could smoke 5-10 cigarettes, and sometimes i could go without a cigarette for weeks so i don't have a pattern, but with a PV i will definitely smoke more.

If you only smoke 5-10 analogs per day my advice would be the Mini eGo. Would last at least a full day+.
For juice you'll prolly need 12 mg maximum...maybe even 8 mg.

not necessarily. there is a certain measure of self discipline you have to maintain. i used to smoke 2 packs a day.the generallity is that 1 ml is good for 'about' 1 pack and im only going through about 1.5 mls a day. 2 on a particular rough day. so im staying about even. you dont 'have' to use more, but you do have to control yourself in order to not.

The only problem is the Vivi is a knockoff and is problematic. He used to sell original Vision Vivis but no more. Wonder why?

Hmm.

Last year I bought a cheap Vivi Nova and it vaped bad for about a day then killed my $18 battery. Some sort of short-circuit.

Last week, I bought another one which was on a vendor site "under" his selection of "Vision" products.
It wasn't a Vision, it vaped bad and THIS time I knew better than to continue using it. I took it apart and kept the tube for spares.

There are some great clones/copies, but not all of them can be trusted.

I DO like the Riva kit from VapeEscape. A mini ego will be good for you and your habits, but everyone needs two batteries, so mini or Riva, but if you get the mini, buy 2 of them. :)

I have a mini ego battery, a Vision Crystal....it's great! Just as good as the Riva, but doesn't last as long.

I'm neither brand or Vendor loyal and agree not all clones/ knockoffs are major fail. When looking for Vivis here's the diff between clone and genuine.

A friend bought 25 of the Vivi clones and figured he was getting a steal of a deal. All of them ended up in the garbage...asked me for help and I fiddled with a few and just gave up.

Hey I've just found a local site that sells these: Joyetech eCab & eGo-C in stock in Cyprus - Authentic, refillable, electronic cigarette starter kits
Is any of them worth buying? (Except of the ego C since you told me you've found some problems)

OK, compare

eCAB Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit

to

Joyetech eCab Starter Kit £32.99 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Joyetech eCab Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

More expensive, one or the other? (I don't know, with exchange rates and postage), but if you don't mind....that's fine.

The ECab has proprietary threads so you must use a specific type of accessory BUT there is an adapter for the eCab which makes it compatible with any 510 or eGo battery style, the most popular thrading.
Also from the website:
"This set contains one complete Ecab Ecigarette, two atomisers, two rechargable batteries, two cartridges, instructions and one free eliquid as a gift from our side."
It comes with the outdated "tank" system.

Here's a shopping list "if" you're going to buy the Mini eGo- others may want to chime in. Bolded indicates the quantity.

2 X Mini eGo Batteries- $22.00
Mini Ego Batteries (400mah) £10.99 - Vaping Spares - Batteries & Passthroughs Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

1 X Charger- $4.75
Ego-Riva USB Charger With Cord (510) £4.75 - Vaping Spares - Chargers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

1 X Wall Adapter- $5.95
USB Mains Adapter £5.95 - Vaping Spares - Chargers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

1 X atomizer for testing new juices- much easier to clean- $4.49
510 Low Resistance Atomiser £4.49 - Vaping Spares - Atomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

2 X 5 Pack Cartomizers- $13.00
Kanger 510 LR Cartomisers Horizontal Coil (5) £6.49 - Vaping Spares - Cartomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

2 X Vision Mini Vivi Novas- $19.00
Mini Nova £9.50 - Vaping Spares - Tanks & Accessories Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

1 X 1.8ohm 5 Pack Vision Heads- $9.95
Vivi & Mini Nova Replacement Heads £2.50 - Vaping Spares - Tanks & Accessories Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

Don’t forget the discount code for 10% off. Allabout

And also juice…maybe someone else has something to add and the gear above should last you for months. I would imagine a 30 ml bottle of juice will last you at least 2-3 weeks.

Wow amazing, thanks you couldn't have made it easier for me. I'm just thinking that maybe the mini eGo batteries won't last that long and will need constant charging. Isn't that a bit of a draw back?

For the amount you smoke I believe they would suffice. Batteries should be good for about 4 hours vaping- do you think you smoke 4 hrs worth every day? I believe 1 battery would last you all day. I was a VERY heavy vaper and my 1100 mah Kgo/ Riva lasted me all day ( I smoked 1 1/2 PAD of VERY strong analogs). Just thinking about the right size for you. Don't be fooled by the size of the Mini eGo as it's 3.7 volts and really kicks. When I first showed mine to friends they laughed cuz it was so small...after trying it they were dumbfounded and immediately ordered the same for themselves.

Oh I'm sorry, i though 4 hours included standby as well as smoking! Well then definitely 4 hours of smoking is enough!

No reason to apologize. Just want you to be happy and successful. Realize also when I began vaping I was using 36 mg X 8? ml per day. I was a VERY heavy vaper. Now down to 2 mg X 15+ ml per week.
Realize also the Mini eGo is the most popular 510 thread and once you find a Vendor in Cyprus could prolly buy gear (cartos, etc) from them. Also "if" you ever decide to upgrade to a variable voltage Spinner, etc all you would need is the battery.

I started with V2's and still use their Sahara e liquid for my go to tobacco e liquid. I don't use them much anymore, but they were effective way for me to start. I was a heavy smoker and I went through about a cartridge and a half per day. If they have a flavor you like you don't need to buy blanks, you can pop the tops off any of their cartridges pretty easily. I never used the other brand you mentioned.

Hello & welcome Ermesasr :)

I know I sound like a record with the needle stuck, but I've recommended the Riva kit (known as the KGO in the USA) from vape Escape to so many folks & they have all got on with them so well :)

and Chrissie should know. She's helped enough newbies to start a whole new religion. :)
