Hello to all, my intro & taste question.

Hello everyone,

So I've asked a couple of questions, got some helpful advice. Thank you all. I've been smoking about a pack a day now for over 12 years. I wasn't sure if I would ever quit the analogs.

I told myself every other day or so that I would go to the mall and pick up one of those e-cigs. But it still took a couple of months. I got chantix from my Doctor, but I really don't like the idea of "brain drugs" That and I'm a bit of a depressive, so I wasn't sure if that drug would be a good match for me.

Finally last Wed, I just put my brain in auto pilot mode. I knew that the Smoking Everywhere at the mall was overpriced (I started reading this forum earlier the same day) But I didn't care. It was worth it. And I needed to just get one and start. I was afraid that if I didn't do it then and then, it might not get done.

Well, over the weekend I have gone nutso! It actually has helped me getting a bit obsessed with these things over this week. Something else to think about. Well I put my order in for a 510, should be here Wed.

I haven't had an analogue cig since I pick this up. Good for me!

Ahhhh, so I did have one question. Flavor. Are users out there getting a big flavor? The carts that came with the SE e-cig don't have much flavor to them. I ordered some juice from Mr's T Bakery, we'll see if that makes the diff.

Is there anything as too much flavor? Like, wow, that's just too much apple!?

Hey thank you everyone, thank you all for your honest reviews and help.

My fingers don't smell bad!

I get great flavor from my 510, whether I use it at the stock voltage or if I hook up my 5v passthrough. And yes - I have had some (not many) where I went "Yikes! That is too much (insert flavor here)."

As said before the world is now open to you with flavors... and do not be afraid to experiment. Some vendors are good some are bad - but YOU might think MY bad vendor is awsome.

One word. Samplers! I was about to give up on vaping until I went on a sampler frenzy and found my preferred vendor and flavors.

Now - I have not had experience with the SE, but your hardware can make a differece in flavor as well. you might experience that one juice tastes great on your 510 and crappy on your SE.

Two parting words of advice. Always vape something more than once, in different sessions before deciding you dont like it, and dont get caught up in the "....I dont think I could vape _________ type flavors." when choosing your samplers.

I was a staunch - "You wont get me vaping fruity/sweet stuff" - until Nhaler sent me some Banana Split as a sample. After tasting that, I was converted - I will try any flavor to broaden my palate - and love mixing flavors (I just mixed chocolate mint with peanut butter - and really kinda like it).
