Hi there! Just found you guys now, doing a little search (will get back to that in a sec)... I tried to search here, but didn't find what I was looking for.

I'm brand new to e-cigs... got mine yesterday... and used to be at about 30 "normal" cigs a day, have in the last 2 days had less then 10 (I know I shouldn't, but as hubby still smokes, it's oh so tempting).

Anyway, I got myself a Nucig Advanced Pro 2. Yesterday I e-mailed the company with two questions, I have to say both times they were VERY quick in replying, but I felt they lacked in customer service support... lol! Possibly just me being fussy, but it has put me off ordering from them again.

Anyway, before ordering my Nucig Advanced Pro 2, I'm sure I read somewhere on their site that the Advanced Pro 2 used to go under another name, Titan I believe, but now I cannot for the world of me find it again.

So, question is this... is the Nucig Advanced Pro 2 compatable (or the same as) another e-cig? As hubby wants to give it a go too (my plan was also to buy another 2 packs, for my parents with Nucig, but due to their short and "off hand" replies via e-mail they lost the business of me buying another 3 packs from them). However, as I already got my kit, it would be handy for us if hubby could get a kit that's the same as the Nucig Advanced Pro 2 or compatable with it.

Thank you so much for any help!

I wasn't familiar with this company so I had a quick google..
first let me cover the obvious and easy question.. the Titan is another name for a joye510 model that totally wicked has rebranded as the titan...this is not the same model as the nucig..
So if it is the same as another model it might be the same as a 401 or 402, or possibly a m4 I'm not familiar with all the models and their specifics..
Next I would say that after looking at the nucig website I wouldn't be doing business with them anyway..in their faq section they make some outrageous statements that just aren't true...
I would look into possibly the evo by intellicig...that company has a good reputation there in the UK and has also made some headways with the government..

Thank you for your answer... even though it wasn't really what I was hoping for... lol!

No, I won't be ordering from Nucig again either, their loss not mine... I am however very happy with my e-cig from them, just not the replies I got to my e-mails. lol!

It ould just have been so handy to get hubby an e-cig that's compatable with the one I already got... I guess I'll have to look for something else for hubby. *sobs* For my parent's it doesn't matter that it's the same sort as I got, all I need there is two of the same that they can use, so will definately look elsewhere for them.

Well it could be worse. You could have bought it at one of the places that charge 4 times the price.

Thing is it's got to be compatible with some brand. There are only a few manufacturers of the minis. All Chinese as far as I know.

I'd call some UK suppliers listed here and see if they recognize it. If it's the m40x (1,2,3,) it's a popular model with a lot round here.

like I said look at the Evo from intellicig and the m401, or m4 I believe it is...they look like they might actually be the same model you have...thats the problem with these companies changing model names or not listing the model...
A little further digging shows that the m401 has the same threads as a joye510 (TW or TECC titan) problem is that there are 3 companies that produce a m401 model (i believe though not confirmed that the EVO is a 401 as well)
Though it's fairly confusing to read take a look at Brand and Model Compatibility Chart - E-Cigarette Wiki particularly the info for the M401..
Alternately, measure the length of the one you have and compare it to some of the ones in http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...strated-guide-e-cigs-parts-1-through-6-a.html
particularly part 2 (categories) ...
Without specs it could fall under 401,402, 403....or the 8084..
You could email nucig again and straight up ask them "hey is this a M401 model or what

But pure speculation from what you've said about hearing that it was someway compatable with a titan (really a joye510) is that it is indeed a 401..

however found a nucig thread here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-reviews/12545-nucig-advanced-pro-2009-a.html seems they can't agree either some say 403, some say 8084

Confused yet...lol...I am

either way I would look at intellicig to start with for m4 models
or Vapor station for a 510 model (they call it a versus)
or totally wicked for a 510 again (the titan)
theres other UK suppliers to look at by clicking sponsoring suppliers up top..those are just the 3 I can think of off the top of my head...
(I've only personally dealt with vapor station myself..and have to give them a thumbs up as far as their 510 kits go)
As far as 401s go I can only think of 2 US companies off the top of my head at the moment that offer something a little different those being revolver and truesmoker (their dragon and phoenix kits look pretty slick)
Anyway I hope my posts help you somewhat..

I have tried the jky306, Smokeless delight, the dse 901, and the Joye 510.

510 all the way. Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. $35-40 for a kit with 2 atomizers is the best. Make sure to buy some carts and fluid because they make about nothing on the kits!

I have their stuff in 2 days MAX!

Thank you so much everyone, especially Drozd for all your help.

I've been looking at this, and the 401 looks similar, but still doesn't look right to me. Then again, being me, even one having a different colour to what mine have will not look correct. lol!

I have to admit that temptation just to stick it in a drawer and smoke normal cigs are getting bigger and bigger... even so I'll get two kits for my parents somewhere, but the point was indeed for me (and hubby) to stop... I am nearly certain I saw that they had changed the name on the Advanced Pro 2 from "something" Titan... Can't see me having made it up, if I had then chances are it would have been called "Creme Eggs" instead of Titan. lol! Sadly after "short and not bothered" experience with Nucig, there's no way I'll ever e-mail them again.

I think the 40x and the 510 share threads but they are reversed. The male females don't match up.

Hang in there. There is a forum that's UK specific. You might post there and see if you can get some help. Not that we aren't glad to help but someone local might have better info.

My name is Mary. I found this forum about a week ago when doing "research" on E-cigs and trying to figure out the best one to buy. So I made a decision (Vapor King) and recieved it today and so far I am completely satisfied with the service and the product. I don't know if its a 510, 801, 901??? I don't really know what all of that means. I just know I ordered an ultimate package and seem to have everything I need to get me started and keep me going for awhile.

I am divorced, I have a 15yr old daughter and two dogs (both rescued) Pepper and Bindi and I adore them. I am currently in college and I am studying environmental sciences.

After 22 years of smoking, I finally decided that I wanted to quit. No easy task as you all know. I did manage to quit on December 22, 2009 and went completely smoke-free for two weeks. (used gum and chantix) I broke down and bought a pack of cig's late one night and that pack led to another and another until I bought a carton. Well I still have half of that carton left, but I also recieved my Ecig in the mail today, so I am hoping that the E-cig will help me to finally quit analog.

I look forward to meeting fellow vapers and sharing our experiences through this forum~!!

~ Mary

Hi Mary,
The numbers are model numbers...lots of suppliers buy certain models and give them their own names...Vapor king is a bit of an odd one,, theres a site called vapor kigs that sells a few different models, another site that sells a model they call a vapor king 510, and then theres the Vapor4Life "vapor King" which is a KR808D-1 model (a 2 piece model instead of a 3 piece)
If it's the V4L vapor king, I'd try to gey my post count to 15 and then head over to the V4L subforum...and socially, if you're near phoenix I'd look for the vip social group (they have regular meetings and stuff)
