Just got my new 808 volt kit in the mail today, so this is also my first day of posting.

No complaints to far, except that the e-juice I picked up from a local store is much weaker in flavor than I would like  That's what I get for vaping black tea--which I drink very strong by the gallon without anything added. the eliquid version needs more ... well... tea in it!

I used to smoke clove cigs and occasionally would get to share a hookah. Hookah was social only. Cloves a lot more often, if I had a place to smoke them--which was my biggest problem. There are no places I frequent that I can easily just pull out a clove: many people hate the smell and will not want to be present even if they are fellow smokers.

So far I've been pleased both with the ease of use of the volt and the customer service result when I had to call SI about a wrong item in my package. I will end up with a new shipment of cartos without having to return the "wrong" ones, which leaves me with a stockpile.

I first tried vaping a month ago while visiting a friend with an eGo. I was intrigued--but the throat hit on her juice was way too high for me! I also wasn't really enthused by the size of the setup: I am used to normal sized cigs that I can hold in one hand between my fingers . Last week I caved and bought a disposable blu ecig. I was pleasantly surprised and went to order one of the premium packs from the website... but they are forever sold out! I didn't want to wait until the end of the month or longer, and didn't want to go for the original that was available in-store. I researched a while, and decided it would be better to just try another vendor.

I decided on the volt, ordered everything I could possibly want to start out with, and here I am--loving this!
I like the warmth of the volt, which I missed with the blu. It reminds me of the experience of analogs.

I'm just waiting for the rest of my e-liquid to arrive in the mail. The one thing that throws me off about this right now is not being able to know what an eliquid will be like until its too late. There's no telling if a description is actually what you're going to get.

Other than that, I really feel as if I should have hopped on this bandwagon years ago. I can finally enjoy myself without worrying about smelling up a room, a car, or myself... or disposing of unwanted, messy ashes.

Welcome to ECF, Seigun, and congratulations!

I'm so glad that Blu was sold out--you got a much better kit! WOOT! You're lucky!

The thing about eliquids, it never ends--just enjoy the ride. There are so many out there to sample--and they never taste like advertised. Order small sample packs or the smallest bottles you can find (3 or 5ml) and just keep on trying.

Reading juice reviews may be helpful, but we all have different taste buds--I taste celery where my friends taste tea, and vice versa.

Hi Seigun, welcome to ECF!

As Kayta pointed out, taste is subjective so it can be difficult at first to find the right combinations of flavors that work for you. I would suggest that you only order small amounts at first and even if they don't taste that great at first, don't throw them out. Let them steep (basically sit in cool, dark area) for a bit and then try them again. I've had some juices that I initially found unvapable but after letting them steep for a period of time, the flavors melded and ended up being pretty decent.

Ok get some PG/glyc 50-50 with Nic say 12 - 18mg or 0 and some glycerine make a base. Get some basic flavours or basic prepack juice say camel/menthol/and clove
and add a few drops into your base mix bit by bit . Mmm I would like a bit more tobbaco or a bit more clove etc etc a drop at a time into your base
and develop you own a good way to go.. get basics and mix on from there..

use a little bowl for your flav /pg/vg . just leave the nic in your unflavoured base and add it last.

Oh, yea. The people in here are super helpful and nice. Later down the road you can check out how to DIY your juice and it is way cheaper than buying it already made, plus it's just fun to make your own flavors just the way you like them yourself. That's what is so fun about vaping and addictive, there are so many cool things to try and flavors.
