Hello. We are completly new to this and haven't really got a clue where to start. We are in the UK but looking online there are so many different electric cigerettes and I don't really know the difference?

Basically, its my husband that wants one, he stopped smoking with hypnotherapy about 2-3 weeks ago but has really struggled with it. He has had the odd few fags but has managed to stop himself fully smoking again.

He used to smoke 20+ a day. He has been using the nicotine inhalers you get from the chemist but have just heard about the e-cigs and they sound like they might work for him.

Trouble is, I don't know which one to get! We are on a tight budget (Am listing some stuff for sale to be able to pay for it!) but don't want to get something that isn't a good enough quality or anything.

Can anybody help? I did try posting in the UK section but it said I didn't have pomission to post.

Thanks in advance
Jenny

Hello, and welcome to the forum!

Here's a must read guide to help you make your choices...

Wonderful World of Vaping

And you'll find lots of great suppliers in the ECF Approved Suppliers subforums

Deciding on which pv is a personal choice. what might be right for one person isn't nessesarily right for another. My personal choice is a 510 and I love it. But there are lots of other good models out there. Congrats on to your husband becoming a non-smoker! And to his decision to try to stay that way!

I like the vapor king from vapor4life. I think the battery model is called a kr808 or something like that. It is a 2 piece model. A lot of the other popular brands are 3 piece models and sometimes may require a lot of tinkering to get them to work properly. Can't speak from experience, only from what I have read on this board. If you have time and patience, you can go on youtube and look for e-cig reviews and kinda get an idea of what's out there and you can see demonstrations on how well they perform. It helped me. Good luck:)

Thank you for this. I have been reading and reading and reading and did I mention reading for DAYS on this forum and somehow I have never managed to come across this. From just a quick glance it's seems to be very interesting and I find myself, once again, getting ready to read some more. :)

Only been vaping since yesterday, but this forum pretty much convinced me that it was something I was going to enjoy. Everyone pretty much hypnotized me while I was waiting for my kit in the mail. It has been everything they said it would be.
Now, if I could just get my juices delivered, I'll really be on a roll!:D

I think reading the vapor link supplied by the post above to be of GREAT benefit.

I will mention- they probably didn't have disposable e-cigs and a e-cigars. Least, I do not remember reading about them. E-cig can last awhile 10.00 or so. Thus giving you more time to research and/or find out if it does help him.

But... you said you wanted something that lasts..so read that article and tons of threads about models that interest you. Find out "what he misses" the throat hit... just the action of smoking... the plooms of smoke? Answering these little things can help. Your Budget will also aid in your decision making- as it does for many of us.

And one point from an article or thread that I read, search box at the bottom of pages is VERY HANDY here.

I am smoke free for over 10 days since day one of getting my first joye510 from cignot. If interested in the 510- forget the L2 in my opinion. In it's short release there has been problems already. I have one too and for the tiny amount saved would have prefered another from cignot OR the 10.00 510's from madvapes.

Also, you may elect to shop in a place where you can get ZERO nic for him. Shipping can add up. I think it's harder to get no nic tobacco flavors. If ordering get an extra juice or two..odds are you will need it:D
