Greetings. New to vaping and to ecf. I found it by searching for leaking kangertech subvod solutions. Will most likely take it apart with assistance from the online videos and see if i can fix the issue. Love vaping and the site, just wish it was not leaking out the air vents cause I am getting some in the mouth piece too and tasting it. Wish me luck!

HI @Morriganpoe and welcome to the forum. The most common cause for leaking out the air holes is a coil head not being properly installed/tight. There is a small clear delicate oring that makes contact when the you screw the coil head into the bottom of the tank. When you take it apart to clean, check this surface area of the bottom part of the tank to make certain it is free of a burr or any other obstruction which could effect the seal. You want the coil head screwed firmly but not over tight as it can also mess up the oring. It's a big issue when the tank leaks in this manner but it's usually easily fixed.

The other time I have had a leak out the air holes has been when the coil is gunked up or burnt. The only thing you can do then is put in a new coil.

Good luck in your journey.

Thank you so much for the advice. I will give it a try!

Thanks . I watched a bunch of videos on how to take the subvod apart and when i did I found I believe the cause for my leak was the coil was loose. It was not an issue with the first juice I tried cause it was high vg but the 30%vg was escaping through the bottom. All cleaned up and tightened so here is hoping. Thanks!

Welcome to ECF, Morriganpoe. Looks like you are getting things working for you.

Different tanks? Why, absolutely! But I don't confine it to types of flavors. I like to change flavors several times a day, so have about 10 tanks with different flavors for when the urge strikes. So I would highly suggest a second tank with a different flavor. After that, some might consider it a case of shinyitis, a well documented bug prevalent around this board. :D But, the acquisition of additional tanks does open that opportunity to try different tanks which I also suggest.

Welcome to ECF Morrigan always nice to see another New Yorker! These forums have many pleasant, friendly users and the admins keep the trolls under their bridges or toss them off. Also a great deal of information to be found with members who provide "support" for products from personal experiences.
