Unplug the charger disconnect the usb unscrew the battery. Then plug the charger into a wall unit plug the usb into that, then screw the battery on. Each time you charge do it this way instead of simply screwing the battery into a charger that has been plugged in all day.

I use this AC to USB Adapter from MV instead of the one that came in the kit. It has the same specs etc but is rated at 2amps output,bigger and seems to work everytime.

Still vaping on the first full charge. Using a carto. I like the looks of the cone but really just want a good vape I don't have to fiddle with all the time. I may have found just that. And it still looks good this way. Getting a little antsy wondering when it'll die and need recharged...

Question - can I just put it on the fast charger every night or would that be bad for it?

Yes, I too have a question about the charging process. I vaped the factory charge from 10:30 Am to 9:30 PM yesterday. It seemed to be still going strong, but I wanted a full charge for today.

Plugged the the wall unit into my power strip. Plugged the USB charger into that, and screwed on the battery.

The green light turned red and the button flashed blue a few times and I figured..all good.

Wake up this AM and after nearly 10 hours on the charger and it wasn't even fully spent, the light was still red?

Seems to be vaping fine, but I have to wonder if that is the original factory charge yet or did it charge and the LED is faulty?

Please Mad Vapes help this new Mod owner out with some advice. This was a very big investment for me.

I've forwarded a link to this thread to the manufacturer.. Good thing is that it does not appear to be a battery issue but a possible charger issue.. Unfortunately I have not been able to reproduce it here and I do throw it on the charger everynight and when I arise to my bright cheery day, the led is green so away I go.. But will definitely keep everyone posted if there are any developments..

Just a suggestion and not a solution but I find that a regular 510 charger works great with these also but definitely slower, good for an overnight charge.. If you seem to not be able to get the fast charger to work and have a 510 charger give it a whirl and post your results..

Hoog look at the specs of the two power supplies, your 2amp one and the one that comes with it. My eyes are not so good with small print but it looks like the output of the one that comes with it is lower.

My regular 510 charger is a wall unit for stock batteries. The 016 battery doesn't fit down the shaft.

I'm screwed if the chargers for this are bad.

Mine charged last night for the first time, woke up to a green light and it works great! 5 hour road trip today so... Here we go, bringing my AR15, 510's and 402 PCC just in case... Plus I'm trying to convince my friend to start vaping and quit analogs.

Hoog said he's looking into the charger thing.

Redd, don't worry I'm sure madvapes will set things right. Best supplier out there IMHO.

Redd, I thought I saw someone post that they had a problem when they plugged the charger into a power strip. Maybe plug it directly in to the wall outlet?

Yeah...I saw this earlier in this thread and so I have tried this...I JUST got up..it is 717am here...my battery has been on the charger since last night--the light is now RED on my dern thing...????????? first the green wont go away...now the red comes on? OH! are my colors backwards? LOL...Ok...I am going to see if it works and for how how long.

The blue light is the button LED. When I press my button on the 016 it lights up blue, and it flashed a few times when I screwed it into the charger last night just like stock battery LEDs do when you go to charge them.

I have no choice but to use a power strip, as my apartment complex is older and has very few wall outlets. 4 total in the kitchen/dining area, 3 in the living room and 1 each in the bedrooms and bathroom.

Ok...I just had another DUH moment....like I said in an earlier post I must be getting old

I have both power strips and outlets in my apartment...tried BOTH...didnt make a difference...and yesterday I was at someones house all day so when I charged yesterday afternoon it was at their house..still didnt make a difference LOL

OH..I have a Joye 510 charger and I cant screw this battery into it LOL

OK...it is now 830am...I started using the battery at 720am this morning and it just went dead.....Thats only 1 hour of use....I am putting it back on the charger now...the blue light on the batt blinked...the light on the charger is green..and nothing I do changes it...
I am starting to get really bummed....


Ok..I unscrewed and re-screwed the battery I had already done this a bunch of times LOL..but i figured what the heck....The dern light turned RED finally....but we'll see what happens?..it did this the other day to....

I'm just reporting my findings thus far..and the battery is still going strong after 24 hours. And I'm a pretty heavy vaper.

I can't say yet if it is still the original factory charge, or if the unit actually DID charge overnight and the issue is a faulty LED. I'll keep posting what happens as the day progresses.

It may not be a solution, but if it's not charging at all later, it may be worth a try.
