Alright I started charging it at 830am this morning, it is now almost 230pm...the light is STILL red however we are about to leave for Sacramento in the next 30 minute so I will take it off the charger then and try to use it ...I will post later tonight if I get a chance. I hope the light on the charger is just screwy:glare:

Yeah...I can't order anything till next week Thursday or Friday...

Ok...I just started using it..it's kinda working...the vapor has been weak since yesterday...it's being weak now...I will switch atomizers as well now to see...at this point my BLU is putting out better vapor! Go Figure!?

Funny how a little light can cause so much anxiety!
It is screwy, mine does the same, cant tell how screwy because the damn batteries last so long, i cant kill one before i get nervous enough to recharge it.

Just charge it nightly and you should be fine. Put tape over the light!

Yep...I guess I will try doing that again! LOL....The only reason I am anxious is that I charged the dern thing from 1015pm LAST night til 730am this morning and the battery went dead at 830am...1 hour of use. If it charges all the way and the only problem is the stupid light then I dont care :D BUt I am watching it closely because it's givin me grief already.

Mine was causing me nervous fits, is it charged, isnt it? it is..right? i dunno...well maybe i should charge it again...or will that hurt it? HELP!

This is why i got a 2nd!
I'm gonna kill one dead then charge it for 4 hours, then kill/time it, then 8 hours, and kill/time that... all scientific like.. and see.

Factor in that one battery may be better than another and you got a whole huge pile of WTH.

I feel your pain, I hope you get resolution soon!

would help me alot if 016 owners would note how many days they have had the unit as well as how many times you have charged the unit as well as how long it is currently holding a charge. so i can compare notes. my first unit was as follows: out of box day 1 lasted 25 hours day 2 lasted 10 hours after recharge day 3 lasted about 1 hour after recharge day 4 lasted 1 puff after recharge. my new unit Ive had for several days not haven't been able to use it much so i have not gotten to the first charge.

I am using the quick charge for my ego and its been working ok. I did notice i cant screw it in all the way. almost all but a quarter turn from being in all the way for it to charge properly. hope you can get it to charge..

Yeppers! I hear ya...we were going to order 2 more on Thurs/Friday (payday) LOL...I mean I have 4 510's and a set of Blu's that are still kicking BUT I kill the 510 batts in like 45 minutes ( it's soo annoying!!) and the blu's I kill in like 20-30 minutes..LOL.We got this one so that on my all night Casino binges I am not stuck with all my batteries dead LOL....and also for our fishing trips...we have double pole licenses so we go all day!!..Thats part of what we are doing on our trip to Sacramento this weekend...Hitting the Sacramento River ,the American River... the Feather River...and where ever else we can figure to fish...LOL Striped bass time! and King Salmon time!

ok, this is the fourth time charging it, and i'm getting the red light wont go off. the last time i charged it, 3hrs and green light, lasted 10-12 hrs. i have been charging it like 8hrs two different usb charges and still no green light. i am going to take it off the charger and use it to see how long it will last. so for me it is every other charge the light is funny, but it has lasted 10-12hrs on each charge...still liking this thing even if the charging is a bit screwy....

Ok...I received mine MONDAY..the 24thd of this month...It arrived dead/not chrged and was crusty on the battery and atomizer (Opyrus yoy were helping me figure out wth it was lol) I have chrged it 1x Monday, 1x Tues, 2x Wed,2x Thursday (thats including last night all nighht chrge with the green light on charger never going away) and after 1 hour of use today-it went dead-so I charged it 6 hours-
Seems to be working now-ONE of the atty's it came with I just discovered is DOA the other atty that I have been using is/hasnt been putting out vapor-my blu e cig out vapors it---I put a reg. joye510 atty on and it seems to be doing well/better.

Ok..I am off to Sacramento...hope this puppy will last the 3 hour trip/drive there...I'll check in tonnight-I HATE grumbling about this because I WAS really loving it!!!

Agreed! Even despite the charging insecurities, it surely is a sweet little unit, I'm trying to kill my current battery and this thing really brings out the flavor of my Ruyan 4, and I almost feel guilty for enjoying 555 on it so much. surely this is somehow not legal...I am going to OD.

I think the book says it'll charge full in 3-4 hours, and it seems thats enough to get a full day's vapes. I came from dripping on BLU's and PT's, this is a whole different world...a yummy world of...um..yumminess.

Time line...Got mine at 10:30 AM Thursday, vaped it till I went to bed at 9:30 last night and it was still going strong.

Put on the charger 9:30 last night, took off at 7:30 this AM with the light still red, and so far it's been ok, with vaper just starting to get weak and it's 5:30 PM.

I haven't tried the second atty yet...maybe tomorrow to see if it's DOA or working good. That is if the unit charges overnight. I'm planning to just plug the USB charger into my laptop overnight and see what happens. I'd be a 016 only vaper for life if it proves to work the way the claims state.

Time line...

Got it Wed (5/26) 10:30am
Charged 8+hours
Used 20 minutes
Charged 1 hour and took it off the charger.
Started using it yesterday morning (5/27) at 6:30am

It just went dead about 15 minutes ago. So that's...what?...40 hours give or take (I'm tired, is my math right?). Plugged the charger into the wall outlet, the usb into the charger and screwed the 016 on. Button blinked blue and light on charger turned red.

Hi Guys, we really appreciate the feedbckon the 016's. As a new device there may be some 'issues' and we've been forwarding these to the manufacturer as well as working to reproduce problems here.. The batteries seem to be okay but the charging process seem a little quirky..

We've increased our pre-ship inspection and testing of these, but our 2 minutes can't reproduce any failures that happen real time after a day or two of use.

DOA Atomizers are not acceptable and we have spares to replace these.. Please let us know if you are having atomizer issues..

Charging issues are still undetermined as the problems are very limited but seem to have a common symptom.

If you are having problems, a regular 510 usb charger does work great but unfortunately it takes a bit longer to charge.. If you do not have a regular 510 usb charger and you are having issues with charging your 016 please pm me and I will get you a charger to use until the issues are determined and resolved..

For the most part the devices and chargers are working great but I know that there are a few issues and as always we will work with you to resolve these..
