Oh my gosh, I'm so bummed.

I just got my greensmoke 3 days ago and it seemed to be working really well,,,my cigarette usage really went down and I'm a true SMOKER! I've never been able to quit.

Now on the 3rd day, my tongue is swollen, there are these brown spots on it and it's painful and feels like it's on fire.

I've got to go and get some ice cream to put on my poor tongue.

I'm suspecting the propylene glycol.

Anyone have this happen to them?

Thanks!

Another thing I noticed that I used to do is vape the same way every time. Put the drip tip in my mouth the same and the vaper would hit the same spot on my tongue or gums. Especially when I first started and was smoking less as I was hitting the ecig constantly. Something to think about. Kinda sounds like you are allergic to PG, I never had any swelling just soreness.

Thank you so much for the quick replies!

It says 1.8% nicotine by volume. The flavor is Red Label Tobacco, which has sort of a sickly sweet taste to it.

Yes....I think for my first time, I made a mistake in what I chose. Yet, I feel really good about smoking less than my usual 2 packs a day. I'll have to check around the forums for what would be best for me.

Any suggestions?

Howdy T,
Welcome
I will presume that you are using the Greensmoke 2 piece, battery and Cartomizer.
If you are NOT refilling the cartomizers (topping up/re-wetting) they will only last about 40-60 draws, puffs, toots etc. They should then be replaced with a new carto or refilled with eliquid.
If you continue to use them, dry, they will continue to make vapour/flavour, but will begin to burn as well. If you are a heavy user and can make a full carto last longer than the slim auto battery it is attached too: It's burnt. Burnt is bad..M'kay?

Thanks and
Good luck
I

trying to suck the bottom of the battery up through the atomizer LOL.

Yes, that's probably it. Just trying to replicate my usual hit of nicotine from a cigarette.

Thank you!

UPDATE: I just tried doing what you said and it really made a nice difference. Thank you so much!

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: I just put in this battery at 9pm last night and the battery is already dead and I need another one of those cartridges. I have a sick feeling this is going to get expensive.

Retic: Why would I want to smoke something with a cord hanging off of it? I actually do like the size of that one better than the larger one.
Izan: I only got the 5 , thank goodness, because I'm going to have to start off with a whole new kit. I don't love this one. The "cigarette" just feels really cumbersome. It really wasn't until yesterday that I started using it pretty much.

I'm going to have to order a different one right away so that it's ready when I'm done with these and at the rate these are being used up, should be about mid-afternoon.

Thank you for all your great ideas!

Cigalikes have very short battery & cartomizer life, refilling the carto's with liquid of your choice can lessen costs.
Battery life issues can be solved by having more charged batteries or a charger with you everywhere you go.
Or,
Get a better set up like a couple ego style batteries (650 mah or more) a charger and a few delivery devices with replaceable heads.
Then try couple sampler packs of juice from a few different vendors and bet set for quite some time for a lot less $ in the long run than the cigalike type.

Well you now know what not to buy, lesson #1 learned ... only 999 lessons to go

hint: if it looks like a cigarette, it probably doesn't work very well, or last very long, and costs 10 times more in the long run than getting something better.

I spent $450 over 2 months on disposables and that worked because at the time I really wanted to simulate the smoking experience exactly. Keep in mind that once you get over that hurdle there is better vaping and a LOT of money to be saved ($150-$200 a month for me) with the mid-range devices available where you refill the juice yourself. I recommend an eGo style battery and an EVOD tank. It's a process and you will be changing throughout it. Don't give up yet!

Yes, I can tell that I'm going to have to figure something out.

Second: I don't think I want to do alot of messing around with batteries and solutions. lol. Just thinking of doing all that makes me want a cigarette.

tj: I can't afford 999 more mistakes. (She says as she looks at her dead e-cig).
TE: Cigalikes are not the best? I take it that's e-cigs that look like cigarettes. I'm not crazy about the feel of those in my hand...they're heavy and awkward.
I think I'll head out to Walgreens and try the ever-hated blu. I may be just in the minority that likes these.

    Thank you all,
