Whew! Glad I stopped you in time! You would have regretted that purchase. The size is identical to a cigarette but the battery life is terrible. They only include one battery and one atomizer for $50(B.S. in comparison to some of the other deals out there.)My atomizer died after 2 weeks(replacement ~$12). There's no choice for a manual battery.

The carts are NASTY and overpriced. $2 each roughly. They also don't last as long as advertised.

The only good things I have to say about it are the overall look, the size, and vapor production. It does make thick vapor for how small it is(using direct dripping).

Do yourself a favor, look around for a 510 that's black w/ green light if it's important. DON'T buy the Envy!

I'm now using an eGo and I LOVE it. Just one you might want to look at. It's also compatible with 510 parts. But considerably larger than a cig.

Cignot.com have Black Bats with green lights on them, it is a 510 I totally like them, I have the green, blue, purple, and red lights :)

And there you go, $50 saved lol. You would have wanted a better PV right away. The 510 is more or less the standard from what I can tell, and it's similar in size to a cigarette. And WAY cheaper than trying to maintain an envy as you can get the parts almost anywhere. Not to mention more options as you get used to vaping(cartomizers, drip tips, pass thrus, etc...)

I'm going to recommend manual batteries though. More reliable.

The Joye 510 is pretty commonly recommended to new users in these forums. From what I can tell even some of the veterans on here still use them.

I had such a bad experience with my envy that I actually skipped the standard 510 and went with a Janty eGo so I never really have to worry about battery life. The eGo is basically a 510 on steroids. Very consistant vapor, right down to the low battery light, but it's about the size of a small cigar. And the battery lasts all day for me. It also comes with an extra battery and a wall charger, plus 5 carts for around $80. It's more than the envy but a way better deal for what you get IMO.

I think the 510 itself is recommended because it's fairly reliable and the parts are really easy to find. I've seen alot of recommendations for 510 "cartomizers" which is the cartridge with a built in atomizer. I'm considering trying some of these as I am also fairly new to vaping. I would have to recommend getting extra atomizers. They don't last forever.

All in all, there are a lot of options out there, you'll have to look around. But from what I've read, the 510 is a good first PV.

95% of the time i vape on my ego/tornado, JMO the 510 starter kit from cignot.com is a great for first timers, it is pretty cheap , Most people quitting anologs want something that is similar in size to the real cig and it is a very user friendly. If a person decides they dont like vaping at least they are not out alot of money.

for the 5% of the time when im vaping on my 510 the carts are filled with High Tobacoo flavor, i use my 510 for my bumps in the roads when i think i could want a cigerette and the 510 just play with my head into thinking it is smoking the real thing instead of vaping.

BUT i love my ego, it is always with me :)

I've actually thought about this too, since I don't use the envy anymore(as it crapped out on me), every now and then I just find myself wanting to hold something the size of a cigarette. I may end up getting a 510 auto kit myself (even though I have the ego) just so I can hang a "cigarette" out of my mouth and still "smoke" it (i.e. when playing guitar, or video games that I can't pause.)

I guess I'll just have to try some cartos on my ego and see if I like them. I know I don't like carts(at least any of the ones I've had.) But, I hear good things about cartos. Anyway, if that pans out, a 510 kit may be my next pv. Either that or a Janty mini fogger w/extra batteries.

Like I said before, I DID like the size of the envy, just not the BS.
