I started vaping about 3 weeks ago and have not thought about smoking since! My current set up is the aspire premium kit (nautilus mini and CF VV+ battery) and I'm loving it! The only problem is I am desperate for more airflow.

I want to get a new set up for sub ohm vaping and after changing my mind countless amount of times I thought I should ask for some suggestions. I don't have any local Vape shops nor do I know anyone that vapes so hopefully someone on here can help me out!

First of all I have fallen into the seemingly popular dilemma of whether to get the unwell crown or the herakles plus so my first question is what one do you recommend, of is there something better? My main priority is flavour, yeah clouds are cool, but not worth sacrificing flavour in my opinion.

It's the mod I'm mainly struggling to decide on, over the last few days I've decided and changed my mind on: Reuleaux RX200
Kanger topbox mini kit
Kanger subvod kit
Snowolf mini 75w
Cool fire IV plus
Smok xcube mini

I've no idea what to get and any suggestions or help that I can get is extremely appreciated. Whether it's one I've mentioned or something completely different its fine, that's why I'm asking I want to know what would be the best.

Thanks again in advance for any help that I get! (I will be posting this on a couple of vaping forums sorry if you see this more than once elsewhere)

If your into tinkering and ever think you may get into drippers, the rx200 is the way to go in my opinion. Things you have to consider is

Are you carrying with you all day?
Do you like something that will grow as your experience does?

My take is buy something now that won't need upgraded in a month or 2. I can't tell you how much money I wasted because I thought I'd never Vape high wattages. The rx200 has costs upfront such as batteries, charger and a seperate tank but you could be set with all your needs in 1 purchase. I say spend the money upfront which will save you from upgrading in the future.

Crown is overrated imo. I liked the Herakles plus so much that I have two of them. The flavor on the crown is good but it's too hot of a vape for me, the temp control coils suck, ss coils are useless in temp control. The Herakles plus is a cooler vape, flavor is good, top fill system works fine. Plus it looks good.

Mods are personal preference, The ipv4 is a good mod, I still use it and I've had for about 8 months.

The RX200 is the best mod value available right now IMO. I have two of them and use them all the time. They are heavy and definately not something most of us would want to carry around all day, but an amazing mod for $40.

The new Kanger 200w TC KBox looks very interesting as well. It is cheap and the smallest 200w mod available.

I have two Uwell Crowns and they both leak like crazy. I wouldn't recommend a Crown based on my personal experience. Kanger Subtank Minis are great tanks IME and I am also a big fan of the inexpensive Tobeco Super Tank Mini. I have no experience with the Herekles but have heard good things....

For a tank, I personally like my TFV4 or TFV4 mini over my other tanks, including the Herakles Plus although it is a nice tank as well. And I still haven't tried many of the coils available for the TFV4.

I agree with other comments about mods being more about personal preference and how/where you mostly use them. I will say I recently picked up a Lavabox DNA200 and although I still have a lot to learn/try with it, I am finding it hard to set it down and use any of my other mods. I think it is worth a look.

MearKKK, it would be worth your while to go and visit a reputable vape shop that sells high end vape gear and has people who actually know what they are selling and how to use it. Forget about mall kiosks. They will just have low end gear.

There's nothing better than being able to hold it in your hand and try demo tanks by swapping your own drip tip from tank to tank and experiencing the flavor and vapor.

Tell us where you are and we can suggest locations for you to visit. There's no location on your profile page.

All the suggestions fellow vapers have given you here are good ones. I'll add the Smok Koopor Plus 200W. You can get it for around $50 if you search for it online. I paid $69.99 in a local vape shop. It's a dual 18650 mod. Buy Sony VCT4 or Samsung 25R batteries for it. Stay away from Efest batteries for high wattage. Check the forums here for battery tests and recomendations. At high wattage you want batteries that won't go up in smoke.

For under $30 you can buy and try the LEMO 2 sub ohm tank. It will lung hit if you are into that and the flavor is good. www.myvaporstore.com has it on sale for $27.95. It's easy to fill, easy to recoil and wick, and it's priced right.

I'm a big believer in "future-proof" purchases. The RX200 is one of the most all-inclusive mods out right now and its super cheap. You can't beat $40 for 200W and all the TC modes. For a tank, the Aromamizer is a good option. You can buy prefab coils for it and it comes with a Velocity style RBA deck for when you decide to start winding your own coils. And it chucks the clouds. $65 at Vape NW for a set up that will do just about everything you can do in vaping at the moment. Add in 6 Sony VTC4 batteries and a charger from Orbtronic or Illumin for another $60ish though. But still a lot cheaper than buying 3 mods and 2 tanks to get all the same features one at a time as you progress through the different levels of vaping.
