This thread is vague and confusing. How about we clarify exactly what happened and thus, what were trying to answer/recommend for you. Sounds to me like you were hanging out with a bunch of vapers who were dripping juice and chatting about DIY. They told you that 50/50 is the 'best', or standard, mixing ratio and that PG carries the flavor. Perhaps they also told you that PG is responsible for the throat hit. Are you asking us if this information is true or not?

PG might carry more flavor. I prefer 70/30 PG/VG.

I bought some 65% VG juice by mistake, great flavor but zero throat hit, perhaps less than zero. I really like the throat hit that PG and Nic provide.

Not sure where the comment came from that PG tastes like musky socks, couldn't be further from the truth. I DIY any where between 70 to 80% PG and never found any musky taste.

Don't know about 50/50 being the standard. I see a lot of juices offered in 70/30 and 80/20 PG/VG. Not sure there is a standard. 50/50 would be way too much VG for me. The one juice I tried that was 65% VG felt like it left a coating on my tongue.

'Said musTy, not musKy :)

Vape diluted VG for a few weeks (with or without flavors), then switch back to adding PG...and you'll definitely taste "the musty". Once you acclimate to a taste (just like the chlorine in tap water), you won't taste it.

I'll try that at some point in the future but for now I want the TH from the PG. Once I've put the real cigs behind me for sure I hope to not want the TH.

After accidentally trying the high VG juice from FuZion I want to try more high VG juice.
