a little history here.... we found out we where pregnant from our second last december so she had to quit cold turkey while pregnant but she loved the analogs and couldn't wait to go back... mid pregnancy I discovered ecigs and haven't looked back, once in a while she really had the urge for a smoke and I gave her 1 drag every now and then and she didn't liked it at all (that time I was on egos, evods and a few premade tobaccos) now that I have my mech and rda's and some really great DIY juices she hasn't even tried them and she's been smoking from the day she stopped breastfeeding our girl, I didn't wanted to push it as she had been waiting +11 months to take up the analogs again.

my wife loves smoking and hates my "ridiculous things( aka nemesis mod and rda's)" she doesn't even want to try my DIY juices, that I think are really great! but she says she will quit smoking (don't know if it is the phrase thar we all used to say and didn't really wanted to quit but...
so now as a new year (not christmas) present I want to get her a really nice powerful setup that is really small...

It doesn't need to be fiddle free as I'm here and I could make her coils etc just need it to be really easy to use so she doesn't need to worry about leaking or putting more liquid.

I love the portability of the eroll but I guess as she didn't liked my ego/evod that the eroll would be a downgrade from that.

So now I'm thinking of a 14xxx mech with probably an IGO-F RBA as it could use micros cotton and still have a small reservior but not sure if this is the best way to go

please advise me on this

I'm looking for budget stuff (I don't like spending a lot on me even that I know I'm in for the long run, so if I don't know if she will use it I'm looking for clones )

Vaping is so personal. If she was on board, I'd say show her all the varieties out there something might click as she looks at the pictures.

My first PV that got me to quit smoking was a Mini-Protank II and a Smok Spinner 650mah battery. Bigger than an analog, but not huge. No dripping or constant refilling required. The Protank II is a love/hate device here on the forums, but for me I'm a lover. I find for the best wicking to use a mix that is 60/40 PG/VG or higher(PG). Lower can be used, but usually requires flavor wicks to be removed.

Good luck!

I agree.... and for the most part I have very good luck with the Protank 2's. :toast:

I don't know - I think for someone who gets annoyed with vape gear, subtle is the way to go.

I would say get an evod or protank mini kit. It's more sleek and feminine than the bigger sonic screwdriver looking protanks.

You want to make it as easy as possible for her to vape, and even though you could help her...needing your help makes smoking easier.

..as always - imo

I have an ismoka bcc mega that I like a lot. It holds 3.5ml so for most people would be good for a full day. Not sure if that'd be too big for her or not. I am currently using it with a standard ego battery and 1.8ohm coils. I got my from pandaecigs.com, that was the cheapest I found them. I am eagerly awaiting an MVP2 and think that'll be a nice boost. I'm sure she doesn't want some big box to carry around though.

My wife checked out something like the one in the pic and didn't like the button on the bottom. We're getting her a VV/VW but I believe she's gonna get frustrated making adjustments necessary using BCC tanks to keep the vape consistant. Heck, EVODS make her crazy at times, usually due to a tired battery or a clogged coil. I really don't know where this is gonna go for my wife but I wish you the best possible success with your wife. :)

It may be that she just doesn't want to quit smoking. I am having the same issues with my wife except for the pregnant part. I got her an bottom coil something (I think I gave her one of my MT3's) not even sure which one I gave to her since I have collected a few different devices myself. When she takes a vape she coughs like it was her first cigarette. I remember that happening to me my first time with the nic in the juice but got over it withing maybe an hour or so. I just can't get her to hang long enough to get over the initial cough. I believe that if she truly wanted to get off cigs she would make a better effort. I don't mean to hijack your thread here but I am confused myself as to what to do. I don't think a bigger better device will be the answer as much as wanting to quit permanently will be the answer. If you do get her something more sophisticated get her something that you will use should she decide to go back to analogs. Good luck and congratulations on the upcoming baby!!!

This is an interesting thread. I agree with what people have already said. Nothing's going to work for her until she actually wants to make the change. Vaping IS different than smoking so there will always be something that's unlike smoking for her to not like.

HST what type of RBAs have YOU tried (OP)? Or do you use RBAs yourself? I got the impression you might from the pic you were thinking about for her. If there is an RBA you really like perhaps you can find that type for her in a smaller form factor. If you like a genesis RBA maybe get her one that fits on an ego & see if she likes it.

What doesn't she like about the Evod? Maybe find out what's not satisfying her first & then try to work something out for her. Maybe it's the juice that isn't working for her. idk. Bottom line really though is if she' not at all interested in making a change from smoking there isn't much you can suggest that will be a good exchange for it.

I hate to say this....my wife loved smoking too. She thought all my stuff was ridiculous too. I bought her an ego kit...she used it between cigs. Gave her my old Vamo with a carto tank. She used it between cigs. Bought her a brand new SVD....she used it between cigs... Then I let her use one of my mini provaris ..... she hasn't smoked in over a month and I'm down 1 provari! Damn high taste woman!!! So totally worth it!

Some one like this needs whitecloud, they are what brought me here. I started with the whitecloud cirrus 2, the univeral case is awesome, fits in back pocket. Its on sale right now too.

They also have the flings and mini flings, i prefer the miniflings, i just placed a big order of the mini flings, in the accessories page the mini fling case is $5.

Here is why i reccomend them,
They look and feel like a real cigarette, they taste similar to a real cigarette, customer service is awesome, i started with 24mg, called them they sent me a free pack if the 12 mg i think it is... I like that i can thriw them away when they die. Each pack comes in a foil type casing, much like flavored blunt wraps from gas stations. Easy to carry, small.

A d imstill buy them because i like to feel like im smoking sometimes. Got to my moms, everyones smoking, morning coffee, gotta have my ciggy with coffee. They have lots of flavors to try, i originally bought all flings two in each flavor i thought was good the flavors i did t like they let me trade out, and sent me free postage witht he new flavors to send back.

Every one who laughs at my egos and vv3 and mvp2 and esmarts, they marvel att he white cloud flings.
It looks sooo much like a cigarette, it tastes better than a cigarette. It feels like a cigarette, and i do t have to charge it, i can just throw it away... Wow.

They also have a real money back guarantee. They return replace everything. Same for duds, if you get a dud carto theyll send out a new one in place of the bad one, no 24 hr doa rules.

Yeah the mini flings for her. No hassle. Easy peasy.

Ok no i sound like i work for heir advertising. Good luck i w hat you chose

That's kinda like my current setup. I use a Astro clone with a chimbus drip atty. But even smaller when I run it in 18350 mode with a pro tank 2 onboard. Roughly the size of the palm of my hand. I can make a fist with it and it's invisible.

How about something simple like a twist or spinner and get a small RDA and evod or similar clearo and maybe a old school dripping atty too.

All that wont set you back much and will give her few options to see what she likes :)

She has to want to quit as others have said but maybe trying a few different options on a simple twist will let her see if its something she might like.

I'm being completely serious, so please retain your flames for starting your fireplace these chilly nights(g).
Have her read through the Provari forum. Let those folks talk her into it. If it doesn't work out for her, you'll get a good PV!

OHHHH no!! LOL!! someONE said the "P" word.
