I'm being completely serious, so please retain your flames for starting your fireplace these chilly nights(g).
Have her read through the Provari forum. Let those folks talk her into it. If it doesn't work out for her, you'll get a good PV!
I couldn't help wondering what your definition of small is in PV'S.

I believe there are some 320 Mah look alikes. I have the 510-X, this one is about a millimeter fatter than the ego 510 but the same length. With a 2.4 ohm carto it has an acceptable vape. I recently came across another in the same but I can't remember what it was.

You could approach vaping as a neat new hobby and just cross out quiting smoking...
This is how i approached my mom and brother with it, you dont have to choose one or the other, but check this out and it tadtes like strawberry shortcake!

I say if you are going the get her on vapor route, get her a provari mini from provapes, and a gift credit or something at jwraps to pick a design and some gift certificates to some juice vendors such as alice in vape land, mtbakervapor, and mistereliquid.
She will have fun choosing flavors, wrap designs and getting some vape mail.

Good luck with whatever you decide to di.

Ps as a female i love smok tumblers, use evod coils on them. I also bought some from fasttech that i like even better.
Also love the smok dct pyrex, really love e blue and pink also found more colors from fasttech that i love, purple and green.
Ibtank you can pick your own color schemes on your carto tanks.
I didnt like the evod either. Iclear16 was too hot and muted flavors baaaad!
Good luck.

I hate to say this....my wife loved smoking too. She thought all my stuff was ridiculous too. I bought her an ego kit...she used it between cigs. Gave her my old Vamo with a carto tank. She used it between cigs. Bought her a brand new SVD....she used it between cigs... Then I let her use one of my mini provaris ..... she hasn't smoked in over a month and I'm down 1 provari! Damn high taste woman!!! So totally worth it!

I just ordered two! Im still smoking too. Plenty have said to me, you wouldnt still be smoking if you had a provari

You can't think like a man when purchasing for a woman. Women like girly things. Colorful. Cute. Petite. BLING.

My college-age daughter uses a pink and a purple AltSmoke BB. A 14500 battery mechanical mod. $85 from a US manufacturer in Ohio, the same one who makes the Silver Bullet. She uses color-matched iClear 30 clearomizers, which are easy top filled duel-coils with 16 thick wicks for flavor and vapor. This is a simple setup for any novice, and is useful for both home and for out-and-about (very purse worthy).

I think Batitude nailed it. Simple and not going to break the bank. If she sticks with it then she can move onto something else if she chooses.

Then again...get her a Provari (or a Reo) and if she doesn't stick with it then you've got yourself a Provari (or a Reo). If worse comes to worst they both retain their resale value very well.:)

a little history here.... we found out we where pregnant from our second last december so she had to quit cold turkey while pregnant but she loved the analogs and couldn't wait to go back... mid pregnancy I discovered ecigs and haven't looked back, once in a while she really had the urge for a smoke and I gave her 1 drag every now and then and she didn't liked it at all (that time I was on egos, evods and a few premade tobaccos) now that I have my mech and rda's and some really great DIY juices she hasn't even tried them and she's been smoking from the day she stopped breastfeeding our girl, I didn't wanted to push it as she had been waiting +11 months to take up the analogs again.

my wife loves smoking and hates my "ridiculous things( aka nemesis mod and RDA's)" she doesn't even want to try my DIY juices, that I think are really great! but she says she will quit smoking (don't know if it is the phrase thar we all used to say and didn't really wanted to quit but...
so now as a new year (not christmas) present I want to get her a really nice powerful setup that is really small...

It doesn't need to be fiddle free as I'm here and I could make her coils etc just need it to be really easy to use so she doesn't need to worry about leaking or putting more liquid.

I love the portability of the eroll but I guess as she didn't liked my ego/evod that the eroll would be a downgrade from that.

So now I'm thinking of a 14xxx mech with probably an IGO-F RBA as it could use micros cotton and still have a small reservior but not sure if this is the best way to go

please advise me on this

I'm looking for budget stuff (I don't like spending a lot on me even that I know I'm in for the long run, so if I don't know if she will use it I'm looking for clones )

Stop trying to "fix" your wife. Her decision has to be her decision. It's very easy for us vapers to be over exuberant about vaping and attempt to shove our new habit down everyone elses throat.

I have a bunch of new vape gear and I am happily smoke free for almost two months. I thought my teenage kids would be thrilled, but the reaction has been neither. My 16 year old as ambivalent but my 19 year old gives me disgusted looks all the time.

She think's that with my PV I "look like a douche". I announced the other day how cool it was to be smoke free for almost 2 months and she said. "Dad, you didn't really quit smoking, you still use that stupid thing all the time...."

Your success with quitting may also be threatening to her. Getting her her own vaper gear while well meaning will most likely turn her off to vaping even more and will most likely generate resentment on her part.

Her decision to switch to vaping MUST come organically, just as yours did.

Ask yourself the question. If the roles were reversed, would you appreciate your wife trying to force you to vape by buying you vape gear that you already thought was "ridiculous"?

I was never forced to quit smoking and take up vaping. It was a decision I made. It has to be a decision your wife makes. Any attempt to buy her vape gear before she is ready, might be seen by her as an underhanded attempt to get you more stuff.

Once she makes that decision, show her how much you love her by buying her the best. But until then don't buy a thing.

Totally agree with this. I quit smoking and my husband is totally supportive, although I think he is getting a wee bit tired of "vape-mail." He on the other hand just cannot quit the analog habit. I make my equipment available to him and am buying another battery so we can always have one charged when he does want to vape, but I don't push.

He smoked when I met him, he smoked when I married him and he can smoke till he dies if that's what he chooses. I feel much better since I switched to vaping and I know he would too, but it's gotta be his choice and on his time frame.

For what it's worth, I think p.opus hit the nail on the head with the advice. This has to be her decision. My SO refuses to try vaping, despite my best efforts.

If you still think you can get her to change with her own gear, then go with Baditude's advice, women REALLY don't think like men. My experience has been that most (although not all) like the pretty, girly, stuff and are much more concerned with the appearance than they are with the functionality (at least in the beginning).

Good luck, and as always ... YMMV!

I think I agree with everyone else,,,,,,,you really need to give her the space to make this choice her own,,,,,,,you can't push,,,,,,

all you can do is be a good role model, show enthusiasm for vaping, and answer questions if she has them,,,,,

my daughter didn't want anything to do with vaping,,,,,,

her boss started vaping, and six months later, got lung cancer,,,,,,,,,,in my daughter's mind, the two were linked,,,,,,,it had nothing whatsoever to do with the 30 years of smoking she did,,,,,,,,,it was totally emotional for her, and therefore, made no rational sense whatsoever.

it took about a year of her watching me vape, and asking questions before she wanted to give it a go,,,,,,,,and now she's a vaper. She doesn't use what I use,,,,,,,,she doesn't enjoy the same juices I enjoy,,,,her set up (Eroll) would drive me insane,,,,,,,,but it's perfect for her.

I think the only thing you can really do is follow her lead on it,,,,,,,,,,and cross your fingers that at some point, she gets tired of the cigarettes.

Thank you all for your help and advice and I guess you are right, I can't convince her, she must convince herself...

In the meanwhile I've managed to get my sister-in-law and her husband to vape (not by saying anything they just found my vaping interesting and gave it a try, both have ego setups now)
last week I went out with some friends to a BBQ (3 smokers) and my mod was used as a peace pipe It was going from hand to hand the whole night and they didn't smoked.
It seemed that I'm turning smokers into vapers without saying anything to them I just hoped that I could do the same for my wife...

I kind of knew that I can't push it but you always want what's best for them; if you enjoy something so much that you KNOW they will also it's kind of hard not being able to share it
I will still have an ego and an evod ready for here any day maybe I'll get her(me) a REO
probably next year....
