So I use this calculator because I haven't figured out how to use ejuicemeup on my mac:

E-Liquid Calculator With Ten Flavor's

When I see recipes that use flavor %'s like this:

Gingerbread (Capella) 40%
Vanilla Custard (Capella) 30%
Caramel (Capella) 20%
French Vanilla (Capella) 10%

(recipe posted by Goodog)

How do I calculate this into flavor %'s I can use in my calculator? I'm really bad about using drops...I like to use exact amounts, it's a lot easier for me.

I heard drops vary from types of syringes/droppers and it confuses me.

Not sure, since it ads up to 100% sounds like it is mixing juice not flavors?? I am not very good at mixing by %, I always mix juice one at a time and play with how much of this and that in a carto to find what flavors blends I like. Then I mix juices together to get what I like. Not conventional perhaps but works for me! LOL I mix my juice with 6 ml of non flavored nic juice and ad 5-6 drops of flavor to it. If it is too weak or strong I adjust and mark it on the bottle. So I average about 1 drop of flavor to 1 ml of non flavored nic juice. Not sure what % that is! bnrk

That does confuse many people. Using this recipe as example
Gingerbread (Capella) 40%
Vanilla Custard (Capella) 30%
Caramel (Capella) 20%
French Vanilla (Capella) 10%

If I were mixing 30 ml and like my flavoring at 20% total, I would have 6 mls flavor total to work with. So following the recipe above I would add this to my base

Gingerbread (Capella) 40% 6 ml x 40% = 2.40 ml of Gingerbread
Vanilla Custard (Capella) 30% 6 ml x 30% = 1.8 ml of Vanilla Custard
Caramel (Capella) 20% 6 ml x 20% = 1.2 ml of Caramel
French Vanilla (Capella) 10% 6 ml x 10% = .6 ml of French Vanilla

Total would be 6 ml flavoring and 20% total. I hope that helped.

that's got to be premixed juice it's hard to say because you would have to know what % he mixed the juice at before he mixed them all together kind of strange that he did it that way

No, it is flavoring. Many recipes are listed that way so that they can be customized to your desired flavor strength :)

Thank you for explaining this. Now I can get on to enjoying these % types of recipes and stop cussing my EGO. :)

Is there a way to make percentages out of the recipe like I do with this calculator?
