Help Debunking This Article for a Friend

So I know a guy who is my spiritual director and he is concerned about me vaping. He send me this article on the detrimental effects of nicotine, but the article seems kind of fishy. It's from the NIH, but it makes many claims that seem to be incorrect, at least in regards to vaping. The only problem is that I'm not too good at finding reliable resources and the like to debunk something like this. If you guys got something, please help! Thanks!

Simple. Just send him the 2nd Sentence of the Study Abstract...

"Nicotine is considered to be a safer alternative of tobacco."

Then tell him you are practicing Harm Reduction over Smoking Tobacco.
