Thanks for your concern, I do appreciate it. But I'm one of many who've gotten well-prepared for the FDA garbage and what it may bring.

Honestly, if you saw my stash....I think even you'd agree that I'll never have that nicotine monkey on my back yelling & screaming because I can't get my "nic fix". I have enough boxes/factory cases of coils for my various tanks & clearos, a bunch of new tanks that each came with a few coils, boxes of Innokin 16D clearos that came with coils, 100s of the discontinued Vision Nano Clearos I love, the 200 pre-wrapped coils I mentioned for the STMs & RDAs, and a load of new old-school stuff for vaping...to help me satisfy my nic need for many years to come! I'm very confident I have enough for me and to also be able to help out a couple friends if/when needed. :)

If/when I do get anywhere near even 1/2 of that gone though...I'll find someone who can teach me how to make coils. I'm not totally against learning how. I just don't see an immediate need for me to learn it!

Jc

Its just that I remember the HELL i went through with that nicotine monkey on my back chattering for my next nicotine fix.

I know how you and other vapers have worked to kick the stinkies to the curb.

Once before in 2014 i was down to 3 mg of nic. I went out without my vape. A stressful situation occured i bummed two stinkies and tge stinkies had me hooked again and I had to wean myself off nicotine AGAIN!

Two_Bears - I do honestly appreciate your concern, and can understand where it comes from. Really! ;)

I'm just one of the people who saw & paid attention to what's coming early on, because it could be a threat to my being able to stay off the smokes. So I'm fully prepared for it, with my vape supplies and DIY things.

I thank you for all the info. and assistance you give everyone, in the hopes that you can help them avoid what you went through in 2014. I'm sure they all feel the same, too. :)

Wow, you are well prepared!!:) Your post reminds me I wanted to ask about tanks. I have 3 of my favorites plus two not so favorite spares that will do in a pinch. Two favorite ones are a few months old and I just got the third one. I also ordered a kayfun with spare tank.

Short of the tank material cracking/breaking, is there a reason for them not to last indefinitely? I mean they are metal - do threads eventually wear out?

I am the same way. I've been prepping for years and not just vaping stuff. I have about 700' of 28/30/32 wire but now I've decided I like the 26gauge on the Bellus so will need to get more of that also since I only have 30'. Sometimes it's just easier to slap a pre built coil in there especially when the grandkids are driving you nuts.

SS tanks should last years, but o-rings and insulators wear out. Plastic tanks crack from acidic juices or threads strip. Glass tanks break fairly easily with one good drop. Always best to have several fully working tanks and plenty of accessories. I like to be able to see my juice levels so I always buy extra glass. I haven't broken one yet but if I didn't have a spare with my luck I'd break one tomorrow.

They will last a long time but threads on attys and screws will wear over time

People accidentaly cross threading will wear the threads faster.

I used my Goblin Mini so much the threads where tge two piece chimney wore and would not go back together after 12-15 months.

That is much what i do buf i slap one of my homemads coils on

I have a little plastic bin with my rebuild stuff.

In 1 compartment i have 10-12 homemade coils to mg fave resistance.

When i need to slap a new coil on i grab 3 pieces.

1. My box of rebuilding tools.
2. My bin with compartments with spare O rings, screws. Coils i made in advance
3. A short perscription medicine bots with Rayon i use for wicking.

I can wrap a coil in 15-20 seconds. Every now and then wben my home Made coils are running low i take 2-3 minutes and make a few more coils in advance.

I have four Kayfun Monster v3 bases, and last week ordered five more Kayfun lite plus V2 bases, and have about a dozen bell caps.

I have been using a Kayfun with the same bell cap for about a year since i almost broke my Silverplay Nano on the bus.

That stupid little Kayfun Monster Mini cost a grand total of $5.43 at Fasttech.

I certainly got my money's worth! And its still working like a champ. I did recently switch bases (not because anything was wrong. Just wanted the Mouth To Lung vape again.

Actually the v2 only has one airflow hole. Im vaping it now.

It has a larger airflow hole and had to tighten the screw down to get a Mouth to Lung inhale.

The way my v2 came i could take a restrictive direct lung hit on it. If i had removed the airflow screw a full direct lung hit would be NO problem.

A few months ago Fasttech had the Kayfun bases with two airflow holes but not now after the v2s are available.

@Two_Bears , I may be getting versions and characteristics mixed up since their are so many it seems. I have what was listed as a EHPro KFL Plus V2. How that relates to the two air intakes (opposite sides) and the larger air hole under the coil, I am not sure. I have never had an original. That being of the 3.1 ES, KFL+ V2, KF V4, or the new little V3 varieties.

Funny as it seems, I think I have had more than 20 since I started vaping. Kayfuns are just good. I now wish I had not PIF'd so many.

Thanks

After smoking for 47 years vaping changed my life. My health is better, my finances are better, no way I am going back to spending 250.00 a month on cancer sticks. I have done all my stocking over the last 5 years for a third of what I would have spent. I am very close to never spending anything in the future except for flavors/pg and vg.

Lynn, funny you should mention that dollar amount. After placing my last order today I wanted to reassure myself that vaping costs me less than smoking and came up with the same amount of money per month on cigs.

Like Two Bears i found myself without my vapes a few months ago and bummed a cig from a friend. It made me nautious. I'm so GLAD!!! It wont ever happen again. I'd quit cold turkey first - I did that once then life got in the way a few years later and I was back to a pack a day in no time. So I dont plan to stop vaping ever. But I'd like to get down to no more than 6mg nic. I dont know if lower will happen because of the TH. I only vape menthol so it might work. We'll see.

This may not be a popular view on this thread, but I'm going to suggest it anyway. If you are willing to accept what the FDA is proposing, and spend $500-$1000 to stockpile, might you be willing to do one other thing to actually CHANGE THE NEED to stockpile and allow the market to continue?

I know something about this, and want to encourage EVERYONE here to contact their Member of Congress (preferably both Senators) and ask for the staffer who handles FDA, and have a real conversation or email exchange telling them what is going on. It could change the future and outcome of this war (and it is a war$.

Thanks for your consideration.

Just describing my Kayfun Lite Plus V2.

I know what you mean about the differerent varieties of Kayfuns, and Kayfuns being good atties.

I ALWAYS managed to avoid Kayfuns like tge plague. I just thought they were old tech and not worth my time until Jim G introduced me to tge Kayfun nano.

I was shocked that the Kayfun had flavor almost as good as my little Goblin Mini

Truth. I was going to prep whether of NO.

Its all good for the best and prepare for the worst just in case the worst happens.

Besides tge FDA doesnt care.

I have already contacted my Senators and representative.

Thats a very good Kayfun there.

The only objection is that Tank crackers like Cinnamon, banana, and others may ruin the tank.

Yep, not for everyone. I switched to all glass a while back and didn't even use tank cracker juice. After using the Kayfun lites and 3.1s with the PC mid section I stopped caring as much. I've been using the PC tanks and acrylic caps for a while and have grown to prefer them. Very durable and cheap as heck to replace if you strip the threads. Lightweight is nice too.
