The vapocolypse calculator says I'm good for 20 years at my rate of consumption. I only hope I live that long and that my freezer doesn't break down and that my friends can plan ahead as well so I don't have to support their habits. I'm actually considering buying a couple extra liters of a hundred milligram Nic just for the friends that can't plan ahead. I'm just afraid of ending up with a whole bunch of Nic going bad somewhere down the road

Some enterprising flashlight bulb company will make a lot of bucks when it engineers a bulb with a 510 connection. Possibly a mod-maker could engineer one of these.

I can (and have) made atomizers with both coax connectors & speaker jacks for bases. It would be nothing at all to make a light bulb base/510 adapter. (do you want them with side pegs or threaded?)
Fact is; it wouldn't be all that hard to turn a light bulb into a workable atomizer. All it needs is the right voltage & a wick.

Cat's already out of the bag, and we know that vaping works. So no matter what the 'Big Brothers' do, someone will figure a way to work around it.

Yeah, I'm ....... And disgusted. But I'm not losing sleep. And I'm not stockpiling.

A new Prohibition is coming. Sure, there aren't even a fraction of vapers compared to the drinkers all those years ago, so there won't be speakeasy's popping up in dark alleys. But there's certainly money to be made and where there is money to be made there will be a market. And we have something they didn't have back in the day, which would be the Interwebs. If one can buy ...... and Ambien and what-have-you prescription drugs with a mouse click, I think we'll be able to find eliquid and tanks and mod's out there on the vast World Wide Information Superhighway.

Of course, it's going to be expensive. There will be a lot of price gouging - supply and demand, baby. Plus the cost of overseas shipping if you go that route. If I have to, I'll pay it. And if it gets bad, then yeah, at some point maybe I'll buy some Nic/PG/VG from some website based in Bolivia or wherever and learn DIY juicing and how to build coils or wrap coils or whatever the hell it is you do with the damn coils.

Just one vaper's opinion. But moi, right now, I'm gonna wait and see what happens over the next couple or few years before I start stockpiling batteries. (People are stockpiling batteries?! Really?)

It is very very very easy to buy for the FDA Deeming Rules. Read the document in my signature and dive in where you think you can. Ask questions on the document whenever you need help.

It's right below HERE ... Click on the LINK - VVVVVVV

Yeah for less than $7 bucks you can buy Pure White LED Flashlight with a 510 connector.

Lol.. and they will be sold at the local gas station right next to those flowers in glass vials.

Sad isn't it, but probably our future.

Seriously it's super simple. If it came down to it for you that is. 3 or 4 ingredients, a bottle and a measuring device of some kind... Done
Yup! It's not something you'd want to go at haphazardly, but it really can be pretty simple. And I've found there are some flavorings that work well all by themselves, no "complicated" recipes needed. A little nic, some VG/PG, adjust your flavor, vape!!

I didn't go crazy, but I put enough away to last many years, unless multiple equipment failures or breakages occur ahead of schedule, or 3 bottles of nic fall out of the freezer and break. It's an investment, none of it will ever be cheaper than it is right now, nor better quality for the near term. And none of it will go to waste, unless I die unexpectedly, or if I just quit, which wouldn't be a bad thing either.

I'm all for stock pilling, been doing it for years. I was worried about the FDA regs. Then I saw what happened to Indiana then Utah. I used to think, poor them. What a horrible injustice. Then immediately it was my state PA. Just like that, poof come October you're done! I'm so thankful I've been preparing, yet still fighting for those who deserve the chance I got. You never know when the end is coming. After all were horrible people who choose a safer alternative to smoking, we must be stopped :-x! My advice, don't wait until it's to late. They're coming for you.

I've pretty much decided to let the cards fall where they may. I've quit smoking cold turkey twice before and I feel like I can quit vaping if I must. I was a non-smoker for 8-10 years between times. I guess I'm sort of a serial smoker. I also maintain some faith (but not making any large wagers) that this will be fixed in the courts. I just can't believe that a much safer alternative to smoking will be completely wiped out. Perhaps I'm just naive, but I hope not.

I am completely stocked now. I have a lifetime of everything (except PG/VG and flavors, which I'm not worried about) and nic for my wife and I for 20-25 years.

And one cool thing is that I recently went back to 18650 battery/subohm mech mod setups for a lot of my vaping and I have to lower my nic from 6mg to 2mg. My nic will likely outlast me if I keep vaping @ 2mg.

I feel bad for those that aren't at least buying nic, but not much I can personally do beyond telling them to BUY NIC!!

I won't speak on behalf of others who haven't bought nic, but i will speak on my own behalf ( so it's 100 % accurate ). Absolutely no need to feel bad for me :) I was forewarned, again and again and again . Half the threads on the front page are stock-up threads. Threads on other topics turn into stock-up threads. Threads started to question the need for lifetime supplies ( like this one ) turn into stock-up threads.

You have done your duty !

I do understand that DIY is not for everyone and many vapers use it to quit smoking, not as a hobby. My wife is a great example... she has no interest in DIY and won't even refill her tanks, change her batteries or swap out coils. If I got hit by a meteor, she would smoke or find a cigalike she liked.

    To each their own!

I'm not stockpiling either for 2 reasons. I made good friends with a vape shop owner out here who has a huge stockpile of DIY Juice and building supplies and said that he would be happy to sell me anything I need as well as show me how to make my own juice. Second reason is well... I know I'm already past the initial phase of quitting the smokes (it's been 8 months now) and since I quit cold turkey 3 times before with each time being a 3 to 4 year span, I'm just not worried about relapsing at all. I already don't bring my vape out with me anymore when leaving the house anymore except for at work and while I'm still vaping the same, I know I can just quit.

And of course I'm speaking ONLY for myself.
