I have a 510 connecter and a bottom clicker of flashlight any ideas for a easy mech mod

My first mech mod was made from a short length of 0.75" copper pipe, 2 copper caps, a 510 connector, and the switch was made from a sex bolt, a mating screw, and a spring. Less than $5, and performs as well as any $100+ mech.

Obviously, most of that can be found MUCH cheaper if you keep a look out for them. Those links are just so you can see what I'm talking about.

For the switch, drill a hole in one of the caps(which will be the bottom) just barely big enough for the sex bolt to slide through it easily, but stop at the head. Find a good spring that slides easily onto the sex bolt and stops at its head. Then slide the sex bolt through the hole in the cap to compress the spring. Inside the cap, put a washer and mating screw onto the sex bolt.

Make the copper tube about 75mm to begin with, and shorten it in small increments if you need to. (You will see if you need to shorten it any once it's put together) Make a hole in the other cap to snugly fit the 510 connector, but trim up the 510 connector so the center pin sticks down further than the sides, then press fit it into the cap.

After that, sand the inside of your "switch cap", and the bottom of the copper tube very smooth. It will be a snug press fit, but you should still be able to pull off your switch cap to swap batteries.

No I just need some one to answer the question correctly lol

there is no wires in a mech mod. connections are done through proper machining, non conductive isolating parts, and screws. diy modders more often do box mods(which have wires) due to them being easier and not requiring machining equipment.

Thx ninfreak for answering my question.... Well could i do a box mod with a 18350 battery if so how would I charge?

simple box mods you simply remove the battery and shove it in a battery charger, more complicated ones using circuitry(china/evolve chips) can have on-board usb chargers put in them to charge the batteries

Dude, if you are really that clueless on the concepts you need to look at how it's already been done hundreds of times already in the modding forum. This place has tons of information available but it's not going to build the thing for you.

lol you don't solder wires to batteries. you use holders, like you have in everything that takes batteries in your home.

lol sorry to say this, but it is for your own safety, you are absolutely clueless and should really rethink wanting to build something that can blow your face off
