I started vaping about a month ago. Was at 40 analogs a day down to about 5 now. I am having a problem with this really dry feeling in my throat and lungs. I started vaping with a liquid of 60%vg/40%pg and now just ordered some new juices that are 70pg/30vg. Would this cause the issue im describing? I want to get off the cigarettes, but I find that smoking a few puffs off an analog, make that dry feeling go away. I didn't notice on the 60/40 if i was getting that feeling because I was smoking much more analogs.

I can't say it's a known problem exactly as you describe, but many people have varying sensitivities to PG. Some eliminate it entirely but that creates an extremely thick juice that causes its own problems with wicking.

I would get some 50/50 and some 40PG/60VG to see if that helps.

Also some people find it helps to increase your water intake.

What flavor juice is giving you the problem?
I have only been vaping for a week and I have a RY4 that is very dry to me, I have another tobacco flavor that isn't too bad and I have a vanilla custard and a root beer that are very smooth. All are 18mg and 40pg/60vg so I really think it's the flavor and not the nic or pg/vg ratio for me. So far I have found different flavors are very different on my throat. The one RY4 I have i can't hardly stand it but I mixed some of the custard with it and it is a lot better, not near as dry and much smoother.
Don't know if this is your problem, it is just my experience so far.

Also new to vaping. But from little I found out, high PG has a tendency to cause dry mouth.
I'm sure the analogs don't help since you are still paralyzing your natural cleaning and maintenance mechanism. If you can, throw away the analogs. I know it is hard. I smoked for 30+ years, clean now for a month.

What kind of gear are you vaping that on? Juices are pretty individual in terms of maximum voltage/wattage to vape. I find all the juices I use in my Kayfun wicked with cotton taste drier than in an Aerotank Mini or Mega (same coil type). And that's on a really mellow 1.5ohm coil in the Kayfun. All sorts of factor come into play when flavor is involved.

I just ordered a sample 5 pack of juices. And I have been rotating through them and they all seem to give me that dry lungs/throat feeling. I do drink alot so I haven't noticed dry mouth. The flavours I have are juicy fruit, peach, cantaloupe, black cherry and strawberry. I am using an ego-T battery. I have different juices in different clearomizers. I have a MT3, Ce4, Ce5, Ce6 and a ebay ce5 which is different from the aspire version.

+1 on dehydration. A week in I came down with vapers tongue. Did some research and started drinking at least 10 glasses of water a day. Been fine ever since. I came to realize that between the coffee and cigs, I'd been dehydrated for years. I've also switched to mouth/throat inhale vs lung. I also keep 4 tanks with different flavors and switch between them during the day. I like cinnamon roll in the AM and a variety in the PM.

PG could be causing issues as well but start drinking a lot of water. Once you're hydrated, you'll notice how much a couple pulls days out your mouth and throat. Part of that is the nicotine, im currently at 18mg. Good luck.

Are you inhaling directly into your lungs? Try to mouth inhale for a while and see it that helps. With vaping, you don't really need to lung inhale as most of nicotine absorption occurs in your mouth and nasal passages.

What wattage are you at? Hot vapor may be irritating your mouth and lungs, especially if you're using CE4 (top coil) clearos. Try to stay around 6 watts or so.

You may also be sensitive to some flavoring ingredient--have you tried vaping unflavored base (just PG/VG/nic)?
